ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze, understand and document development requirements of electronic designs.
• Design and implement electronics design by selecting components, schematic design and supervising PCB layout as well as integrate and test the hardware platform.
• Conduct product verification against defined hardware specification, prepare design documentation and support design transition to manufacturing as necessary.
• Assume technical lead role in project as necessary to provide the technical direction, technical decision and risk mitigation.
• Identify opportunity to improve within the functional team and participate in improvement activities.
• Create and maintain BOMs of the new designs.
• Select new electronic parts, taking into consideration: obsolescence, availability and cost.
• Liaise with project manager and a cross functional team to produce prototypes.
• Perform design FMEA to reduce risks of performance failures.
• Create & maintain technical documentation (schematics, specifications, performance, and bring-up reports)
• Work in a team for continuous development and improvement of products / parts / firmware.

As a Product Design Executive, you will need to develop design through sketches, prototypes, renderings and communicating with manufacturers. You will be regularly presenting design works to various decision makers. You will be involved in developing products from concept to factory production while keeping within budgets and timelines.

Position Summary
This position entails engineering of tire 3D CAD models and support drawings to support virtual tire development, analysis, and mold tooling creation. You will be rewarded and challenged in a fast paced role where you will develop our intelligent, virtual product definition in PTC Creo software using advanced CAD modeling techniques like you’ve never seen before. Experience with family tables and knowledge of pro program would be a big plus!

• Interact with a cross functional development team to define, analyze, and predict tire tread performance using our in-house developed tools, and FEA software. Develop best in class, fully robust, parametric CAD models that are driven through equations, relations, and logic based programming.

• Use experience, knowledge, and creativity to conceive and implement ideas for new technology development in 3D modeling and mold tooling. Be an active contributor in developing, refining, and optimizing our modeling best practices.

• Become a subject matter expert and lead enhancement of existing processes and software tools and work to implement modifications that result in increased productivity and functionality. Be the “go to” person to solve technical challenges in 3D model geometry, stamping, mold tooling, and virtual analysis.
• Participate in cross functional team activities to support short and long term business needs and projects.

What you'll be doing:

On this team, the goals and objectives are carried out through a high degree of collaboration and use of state-of-the-art methods and technologies, analytical and computational analysis, and laboratory validation. These methods and processes are developed within NVIDIA’s thermal team. Part of your responsibility is driving trade-offs and validation aligned with product goals and contributing to thermal solution designs from conceptualization through mass production. You will:

• Work in a dynamic and fast-paced product development environment

What we need to see:

• Hands-on experience and proficiency in thermal testing (i.e., thermal sensors, using automated data acquisition, system assembly, and data analysis techniques)

Job Purpose and Background

This is a cross-functional role that combines the intersection of Product Management and Experience Design disciplines.
