Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Technical Director to play a pivotal role in providing strategic and technical leadership, focusing on support to the Cyber Services Portfolio with a focus on USCYBERCOM and its subordinate organizations. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of innovative solutions that align with the business growth strategy. You will manage multiple tasks with aggressive timelines, contribute to integrated programs and strategic initiatives, and lead program staff in synthesis activities to create and enhance synergies throughout the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Innovative Solution Development: Lead the development of cutting-edge solutions that directly support the business growth strategy, staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.
Project Management: Manage multiple tasks and deliverables concurrently, ensuring projects are completed within aggressive timelines while maintaining a high level of quality.
Collaboration and Integration: Liaise with cross-functional teams to contribute to integrated programs and strategic initiatives that enhance overall business operations.
Team Leadership and Development: Oversee, train, and lead program staff, providing technical expertise, guidance, and mentorship. Participate in the hiring process and handle employee-related matters.
Communication: Provide technical expertise to managers, staff, and clients. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Talent Development: Develop technical talent within the organization, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement.
Key Relationships:
Supervision Received: Business Leadership, Sector Manager, BU President, PM Technical Leadership
Supervision Given: All assigned personnel, including Technical Consultants, IT, and Engineers
Internal Contacts: Collaborate with all departments within the organization
External Contacts: Engage with clients and subcontractors to build and maintain strong relationships
Skills and Competencies:
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
Team Management: Expertise in managing and leading teams to achieve organizational goals.
Business Alignment: Ability to understand business goals and translate them into technical requirements and project plans.
Decision-Making: Ability to make decisive decisions under pressure with a strong attention to detail.
Influence and Leadership: Influence technology strategies and decisions with a high level of expertise and knowledge.
Regulatory Knowledge: Advanced understanding of regulatory standards relevant to the business.
Communication Skills: Superb oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with advanced presentation skills.
Education and Typical Experience:
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Experience: 10+ years within a technical field or related industry, with 4+ years in a managerial role
Licenses and Certifications:
Professional Certification: Possess a professional certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP).
Additional Certifications: Hold any other certifications related to cybersecurity, cloud, technology, or leadership (as applicable).
