ERM Japan is seeking a motivated entry-level Consulting Associate to join the world’s largest pure play environmental and sustainability consulting firm.
Working under the direction of ERM's technical experts and project managers, the successful candidate will work on a wide variety of projects such as:
- Contaminated site management
- Remediation
- Environmental and social due diligence
- EHS management systems and compliance
- Hazard identification workshop
- Construction safety

REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in engineering (chemical engineering or environmental engineering is preferred but other engineering degrees will be considered).
- Recent graduate to 2 years of experience.
- Fluent in both Japanese (at least N1 level) and English
- Willingness/interest in field assignments; ability to perform field work standing or walking for full field days.
- Strong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols.
- Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus.
- Ability to succeed in a consulting environment, simultaneously handling multiple project assignments and meeting strict deadlines.
- Dependable, with integrity, respect, positive outlook, and customer focus
