In your role you will be responsible for the performance of field operation & maintenance duties for several assets/facilities & plants within your area. You will act as a technical and local point of contact with gas suppliers and/or customers. Whilst following and enforcing the Security procedures within the framework of regulatory requirements you ensure with the help and monitoring of competent people, the maintenance in good general condition of the installations.

• Apply regulatory safety rules to all responsible sites
• Training subcontractors and users to safety rules
• Alerting and raising awareness when witnessing risky situations
• Root cause analysis of safety incidents
• Participating and is involved in the RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statement)

• Maintaining the history of interventions carried out on the installations writing exhaustive reports

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager with a background in FM hard services delivery and small works project management. Summary

This position will assist in technical and contractual quality assurance on behalf of the client to ensure the leased Colocation Data Center is compliant to country, regional, global compliance, and technical standards. Colocation Data Center Operations

• Assist in overseeing all aspects of the data center’s critical physical infrastructure for the client.

Experience:

At least 5 year experience in management of Food and Service Operations

The post-holder is accountable to the Divisional Director for the delivery of the service by providing expert knowledge, skill and leadership in their geographical area. Operationally the role will work across 5 days and provide on call cover as part of our overall command structure, to ensure consistent delivery of services across the 7 days and 24hr period.

Oversee day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art data centers and critical facilities. Lead team responsible for maintaining data centers, power systems, fire prevention, HVAC, physical infrastructure and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage data center operations, facilities and infrastructure systems
• Lead incident response and coordinate change/release management
• Liaise with vendors and provide design/cost proposals
• Establish operational procedures and ensure compliance
• Manage team of employees and contractors
• Conduct operational meetings and training

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years data center operations experience
• 3+ years management experience
• Strong technical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Data center certifications (CDCP, CDFOS, CDFOM etc.)

You will be assigned as a trainee for 7 months where you will have exposure to learn and understand how our Data center works, interact with our support teams and customers. Key job responsibilities
There is never a dull moment as each day presents itself with different challenges. Some of the key exposures are:

• Perform installation and configurations on Data center Servers and Network systems
• Installation, troubleshooting and replacement of internal and external hardware parts of Servers and Network devices
• Perform storage media (HDD, SSD etc.) sanitization and destruction tasks
• Work within a ticket-based environment and work on systematic problem resolution
• Movement of equipment with assisted lifting machinery.
• Maintain high system reliability by prioritizing trouble tickets
• Collaborate with internal teams (DC operations, DC Engineering, Logistics, Security, Projects etc.) sharing ideas and contribute in projects to improve DC work environment and overall efficiencies.
• Participate, lead and deliver small to mid-scale projects including Data Center rollout
