Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and evaluate new business opportunities that align with the department’s strategic objectives and revenue targets.
· Conduct market research to analyse industry trends, identify potential partners, and assess competitive landscape.
· Lead key initiatives with internal & external stakeholders to drive revenue growth
· Drive BTL marketing for the parks and develop marketing initiatives across various platforms.
· Uphold & enhance brand identity of the parks through consistent messaging and creative campaigns.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including resort marketing, operations, finance, and legal, to develop and execute business initiatives.
· Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, tourism boards, travel agencies, event organizers, and industry associations.
· Negotiate and finalize business agreements, contracts, and partnerships, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for Universal Studios Singapore.
· Monitor and track business development activities, providing regular reports and updates to the Director, Commercial and senior management.
· Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
· 8 to 10 years of experience in business development or strategic planning, preferably in the entertainment, tourism, or hospitality industry.
· Proven track record of developing successful marketing campaigns and commercial strategies that drive revenue growth.
· Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing business deals, including partnerships, sponsorships, and strategic alliances.
· Resourceful, open-minded and think out of the box with business sense
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market trends and identify growth opportunities.
· Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
