Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Insights Analyst for the YouGov Sport media team who brings over 5 years experience of strong analytical skills, excellent insight report capabilities and first-class communication skills.

YouGov Sport provides a wide range of insight services on a global basis to the Sports industry. Drawing on the power of YouGov data and tools as well as a range of world-class media monitoring resources.

What will I be doing day to day?

• Project management: to co-ordinate and manage projects of varying complexity either independently or as part of a team.
• To work with the Associate Director and Client Services team to plan resources and deliverables, and address and resolve any scheduling issues.
• Create searches and use bespoke media information tools to find relevant data. Collect, collate, extract and interrogate the resultant data.
• Perform advanced media valuation analysis and calculations in Microsoft Excel, using functions such as pivot tables, vlookup and data filters.
• Data analysis: looking into trends and identifying potential discrepancies and errors. Extrapolating and estimating data using robust samples, data models and logic
• Report production: producing bespoke analysis and reports for clients; creating a clear narrative from the data that enables the client to make data-driven decisions.
• Proofreading analyst’s reports and suggesting pertinent improvements to the written insight and presentation of data.
• To keep up-to-date with new data insights techniques and models, including how these can be translated and embedded into the business, whilst always looking to improve current techniques and models.
• Report to the Associate Director and manage a small team of Analysts and Junior Analysts.
• To become the subject matter expert, being able to share knowledge with the team and with clients where applicable.
• To provide support on ad-hoc projects.

• Create and develop reports based on the objectives of the social media campaigns and their KPIs

• Checking the pacing of live campaigns

• Learn the intricacies of every report and the larger role it plays in the Campaign Lifecycle

• Read and infer data from trafficking sheets

• Translate client’s campaign needs onto the platform

• Adding tags to Ads on Social Media platforms

• Draw actionable insights from reports made to add value to the on-shore team

• Ensure all deliverables are of the highest quality and in adherence with agreed upon SLAs

Good to have skills:

• Basic internet knowledge (Google/Youtube/etc.)
• Flexible to work across different time zones/shifts (including night shift)

• Completed a Bachelor's degree, The Communication Studies Student with a focus on strategic communication and public relations is point plus
• Have experience in Authored and edited engaging internal content from newsletters, memos, and announcements, ensuring clarity and consistency in messaging.
• Collaborated with various departments to gather information and ensure accurate and timely communication to employees.
• Developed an annual internal communication plan that contributed to an increase in employee engagement over the year.
• Designed and executed a creative social media campaign to promote a new company initiative, resulting in increase in participation.
• Managed the company's intercom platform, regularly updating content and ensuring a user-friendly experience.
• Played a key role in communicating a major restructuring to employees, addressing concerns and facilitating a smooth transition.
