Jobs and Core Responsiblities:
· To plan, execute, and finalize jobs for the company, according to strict deadlines and within budget.
· To coordinate project team’s efforts within available resources to ensure quality delivery of projects according to plan for the customers.
· Assist Senior Manager to scope each work/installation project in terms of project size, budget/cost to set project timeline, manpower and resource requirements and other agreed project deliverables
· Determine, allocate, and maximize available resources through project planning to ensure the achievement of project management objectives and profitability
· Manage project budget and project P&L responsibility for the projects he is assigned with
· Work out change or variance orders for discussion with and advice from Senior Manager when clients require unplanned changes to projects
· Prepare and manage project installation plan, work schedules, prepare and implement job procedures
· Maintain construction schedules and coordinate task-scheduling
· Maintains all records of job status, job changes and material flow
· Resolve project problems within guidelines set by Active Fire management ensuring budget is not exceeded
· Supervise projects team workload to ensure quality results are delivered on time and within budget
· Implement remedial actions as directed by Senior Manager when project issues surface during trouble-shooting process
· Leads, supervises, motivates, develops and appraise his direct reports
· Issue, receive and endorse correspondence with clients as delegated by Senior Manager
· Give instruction to subordinates working on the projects
· Counsel and discipline workers who breach safety and other work rules
· Receive and endorse on project material delivery orders.
· · Achievement of quality and work performance targets for the projects assigned to him, plan and manage the progress and budget of application projects and resolve arising issues so as to ensure the timely completion of the projects as scheduled.
· Efficient management of budget, costs, equipment and manpower resources for the projects assigned to him
· Achievement and maintenance of safety and operations targets for the projects assigned to him
Requirements:
At Least Degree in Engineering / related field with min 3 - 5 years’ relevant experience
Working knowledge of Project Management techniques and tools
Knowledge of the industry and competitive practices as they relate to Active Fire’s target markets
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers
Good communication and persuasive skills to work with clients, senior management, peers and subordinates
Leadership skills of a manager
Analytical decision making capabilities
Self-motivated with the ability to motivate and influence others
Must be able to manage multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines
