This internship provides a hands-on learning experience in administrative, finance, and human resources functions within a growing and dynamic environment. You will have the opportunity to work closely with all team members and superiors.

JOB SCOPE

As an Administrative, Finance, and Human Resources Intern, you will be exposed to various aspects of business operations and play a vital role in supporting our team in administrative tasks, financial analysis, and HR processes. 

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Administrative:

· Assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.

· Coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members.

· Managing office supply inventory and ordering as needed.

· Providing general administrative support to the team as required.

· Supporting project management activities and tracking project progress.

Finance:

· Assisting in financial record-keeping and documentation.

· Supporting the finance team in preparing financial reports, invoices, and expense reports.

· Collaborating with team members to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Human Resources:

· Assisting in recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.

· Supporting onboarding activities for new hires, including paperwork and orientation sessions.

· Assisting in maintaining employee records and databases.

· Supporting HR initiatives such as employee engagement activities and performance management processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to commit for a minimum of 3 to 6 months. Preferred final semester student.

· Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in business administration, finance, human resources, or a related field.

· Internship Letter, Latest Result Slip, Official University Letter, Resume, and Cover Letter.

· SPM transcript, co-curricular certificate, etc.

· Good command of spoken and written English, Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Microsoft Excel.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day Finance Operations side of the business (assisting on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger functions).
• Ensure responsibility of accountancy and financial administration working closely with various stakeholders (internal and external).
• Assisting on bank reconciliation for cash flow management and planning.
• Follow up on timeliness to update daily, weekly and monthly standardized reports templates, analysing volume and value sales, collection update and etc. for presentation purpose.
• Providing daily support on all outstanding queries from the regional offices and customers as and when required.

Job Description: 

• Weekly news digest: Scan the market for relevant news pertaining to insurance, insurtech, travel, airline etc. To prepare a concise weekly summarised email to be shared with senior management.
• Monitoring changes in shareholders: On a monthly basis to identify the Top 20 shareholders movement, share price movements, changes in volume, and shareholder composition based on the register of shareholders provided by the Company Secretary.
• Scheduling meetings (virtual or face-to-face): Arranging the meeting logistics, blocking calendars and providing a meeting brief to internal meeting attendees prior to the actual meeting. To update shareholder meeting database post meeting.
• Planning for the quarterly analyst briefing: This includes liaising with the respective business units on information request, preparing the CEO’s analyst presentation deck, cheat sheet, FAQ, and CEO’s talking points. Handle logistics pertaining to the actual day briefing.
• Updating the Investor Relations webpage: On an ad hoc basis, to monitor can check for information that requires an update.
• Other job scopes which may be delegated by the line manager based on his/her discretion: This includes credit rating, annual general meetings, Corporate/ Investor days, non-deal roadshows, special projects (corporate finance related), vendor payment processing etc.

Qualification: 

• Candidate should possess a relevant undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, commerce, finance, business administration, marketing, actuary, or a related field is preferred.

The Marketing Communications Intern will assist the Marketing Communications team in planning and executing marketing communication strategies for both our segments (Investor and SME). 

The role covers executions to track and analyze marketing initiatives performance ( i.e. prepare performance report, etc ) as well as assist with other marcomm tasks.

• Collaborate closely with the Marcomm team when implementing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies targeting both our investor and SME segments.
• Contribute insights and ideas to identify new opportunities and stay abreast of market and industry trends, aiming to foster the segments and organisational growth.
• Take an active role in tracking, consolidating, and analysing performance metrics for all marketing initiatives, including those developed through partnerships and internally.

Working with the Publicis Social Community to support on community management and social-first content creation across our key brands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Community Management
  • You will work with social teams to do daily community management across FB, IG, TikTok, YouTube – responding to queries and comments with guidance from an approved FAQ sheet
  • You will do the necessary escalations to clients, when there are social issues that require further inputs
  • You will explore ways of engaging with the online community to drive higher interactions and build an active and dynamic community
• Social-First Content Creation
  • You will be required to brainstorm and ideate for culturally relevant content ideas, that reflect what’s trending across culture and social platforms like TikTok
  • You will be responsible for shooting and editing content using mobile phones and apps like Canva in best practice outputs
  • Content creation can be part of always-on content calendars or for on-ground events located within the Klang Valley
