Material Handler - Kitting / Kit Prep Auditor - 2nd shift

  

This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Family Definition:

Accountable for development, planning, execution, and management of various activities related to materials and inventory control for materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Examples include logistics coordination, shipping/receiving, distribution, storage of materials and cycle counting programs. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, at the non-exempt level, inspection; order fulfillment; shipping; kitting; movement of materials; ensuring physical inventory and maintaining designated inventory records using various material tracking systems; and scheduling work for designated areas of operations; at the exempt level, compiling data for reports; and statistical analysis.

Management Level Definition:

Applies developed knowledge of the job skills, company policies and procedures to complete a wide variety of difficult assignments/tasks. Thorough understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job. Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature and require ordinary problem resolution. Works under limited supervision and normally receives no instruction on routine work and general instructions given for new assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Performs varied and general tasks involved in controlling inventory; shipping, receiving, storing and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment (e.g. movement of materials through the use of pallet jacks, daily collection of appropriate statistics, routine maintenance).
• Supports intermediate-level transactional processes that require independent judgment.
• Follows detailed documentation and instructions to execute a variety of process- oriented tasks to support inventory control and materials management activities (e.g. works externally to expedite routine shipment and deliveries; clearing of Shipment Delay Advisories).
• Identifies basic- to complex level functional process anomalies (e.g. inventory control, shipping and receiving, conducting cycle counts) and seeks guidance for resolution.
• Supports the training of new hires.

Education and Experience Required:

• Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Typically 2-4 years of experience in materials and/or distribution.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong knowledge of warehouse management applications and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Fluency in English and local language.
• Strong technical knowledge specific to business function.
• Strong multi-tasking ability.

About the role

You will be managing day to day IT operations, whilst propelling us forward through upgrades and enhancements particularly focussed around cybersecurity and compliance. You will also drive the internal IT and Cybersecurity strategy while working with a range of vendors.

This is a full time permanent position.

What you'll do

• General Helpdesk Management: Setup an IT helpdesk function to resolve issues promptly and ensure the team is supported
• Cybersecurity: Implement and manage robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Disaster Recovery: Maintain and improve disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard critical operations
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance and optimization of our IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems
• Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage IT service providers and vendors to ensure cost-effective and reliable technology solutions
• Data Management: Establish data governance policies and practices to maintain data integrity and support data-driven decision-making
• Onboarding: Streamline our on & offboarding processes; streamline hardware setups and software provisioning
• Continuous Improvement: Automation or general improvements of how we run operations internally and our internal systems & processes

About you

• Proficiency in cybersecurity best practices and knowledge of regulatory compliance
• Systems Expertise: We use JamF, Google Workspaces, Zapier, AirTable, Notion - you will be comfortable with these tools or have used similar ones previously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively and problem solve with internal teams and external partners
• Previous experience managing a range of vendor relationships effectively to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and solutions
• Comfortable working in uncertain and fast-moving environments
• Service mindset; passionate about delivering a great experience to the wider team
