Overall job objectives
To manage the entire HR function for HEB and it's operating units.
Job scope / responsibilities
Recruitment of both local and foreign staff
Application of Work Permit application and renewals including medical tests required
Payroll / Rewards (Compensation & Benefits)
Staff training & development
Talent Management and Succession Planning
Staff welfare/benefits administration
Performance Appraisal Management
Compliance, Strategic Partnering with various Govt & non-Govt agencies with respect to HR functions/needs.
Job requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience. Preferably close to 10 years.
Have supervisory and leadership role at least 3 years.
Experience in handling monthly payroll processing with variable component
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations in Singapore. Knowledge of MOM system and Tax compliance.
Good network with the HR professionals both in government and externally is an advantage
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HR related software.
Good written and communication skills. Good presentation skills. Effectively bilingual in English and Tamil.
Able to interact with staff of all levels and exercise confidentiality in all HR matters.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and trustworthiness.
