What you will do
Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an internship located in Indianapolis, IN. This internship is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives. This role will be part of our Commercial HVAC Owner Sales Team providing services and retrofits for Controls and Mechanical Systems in commercial buildings. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below.
How you will do it:
· Operate under direct supervision from local and/or area sales manager
· Participate in market research, lead development and appointment setting
· Interact with sales team, field service team and directly with customers
· Perform other duties/projects as assigned
Duration:
· This will be a full-time summer 2024 internship with the term determined based on the candidate’s availability
What we look for
Required Qualifications:
· Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
· Pursuing a degree an engineering degree or equivalent
· Currently a Junior or Senior status
· U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently
· Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred
· Demonstrated problem solving skills required
· Ability to work effectively in a high energetic and multiple-engagement environment, dedication to teamwork, a strong work initiative, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas.
· Strong technical proficiency in Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft products
· Ideal candidate will have an interest in learning about the HVAC/R industry and consultative selling.
