Business Development Executive (Chinese-Speaking)
Quintessential is a premium education consultancy offering pre-tertiary academic programmes and university applications advisory for Ivy League and Oxbridge universities. Over the past 9 years, we have built a presence amongst Chinese students in Singapore and are launching into the next phase of explosive growth with a thriving demand from Chinese students.
We are looking for a dedicated and talented addition to our team to help us grow our brand in Singapore and beyond. You will be responsible for every facet of our consumer management and branding journey. From advertising, customer engagement, competitive analysis and service differentiation and prioritization, you will help shape the voice of our company and grow our consumer base. In this role, you'll be involved with leading our business development and customer management strategy, conducting sales presentations, and closing deals to drive enrollment for our academic programs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in sales, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for education. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable working with high-level executives and decision-makers.

Working hours: 10am-7pm on Monday to Sunday. 1030am to 530pm on Saturday to Sunday. 4 Weekdays and 1 Weekends are required. 2 Rest days: 1 Weekend, 1 Weekday.

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for setting and executing the Salesforce Education business development strategy for EMEA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the education sector, either as an employee of a reputable institution or working with institutions at a solution provider.
You will excel at fostering relationships at senior levels of Educational institutions, government departments as well key partners that support the Education mission.

Responsibilities:
Set and execute large customer acquisition strategies to include awareness of areas that Salesforce has a proven track record, create demand, and identify key procurement frameworks.
Foster relationships at senior Education and Government levels using current network and expanding it
Provide detailed business development strategy focused on the top educational executives and transformation areas where Salesforce can bring tremendous value and nurture and advance those opportunities
Plan and manage at both the strategic, operational and tactical customer-facing levels on the full customer acquisition cycle to include identification and advancing of customer opportunity
Lead overall business development process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management
Align with Strategic Account Executives, industry leads, and regional sales leadership teams to present a single front to help represent a single vision for our customers.
Interface with the product development and marketing organisations to help guide Education Sector product direction and production of sales plays for any country specific needs
Required Skills:
Consistent track record and success with transformation initiatives in Education
Deep understanding of Education Cloud Transformation enablers and drivers
15+ years of senior experience in Education or Systems Integrator with domain expertise in the Education sector
Consistent track record of generating business opportunities that contribute to year on year growth
Passionate about serving students and using technology to improve student and staff experience at Universities
Additional Skills/Experience:
Strong track record of tailoring focused capture plan objectives, strategies and tactics in conjunction with quantifying and qualifying opportunities
Comfortable interfacing directly with customer decision-makers to shape market opportunities
Proven experience gaining access to decision makers and establishing strategic relationships and successes for long term partnerships

Job Description SummaryEssential Duties
Provides administrative support to the Executive Director for Trails and Trades in the form of
Accesses and organizes the Executive Director’s communications including emails, internal memorandums, phones, mail, and all other forms of internal documentation.
Accesses and maintains the Executive Director’s Outlook schedule and schedules intra/inter-office meetings.
Serves as event coordinator and point of contact for all Advisory Board, BILT, regional and international stakeholder group meetings and maintains data for all documentation therein.
Helps build schedule for BIKE, TRAL, CST, and TRADES
Serves as point of contact for BIKE and Trails program inquiries, student recruitment through matriculation processes, and K12 partnerships and maintains data for all documentation therein.
Distributes inbound and outbound communications.
Makes travel arrangements and submits travel reimbursement paperwork and maintains data for all documentation therein.
Submits and manages requisitions and invoices from relevant cost centers for grant funded projects.
Assists with project management of capex projects, including meeting notes, documentation retention, and asset management.
Runs financial and enrollment specific ERP reports.
Accommodates individuals arriving for meetings scheduled through the Executive Director’s office.
Maintains database of BIKE and Trails inquiries, contacts, leads, and conversions.
Provides administrative support to the BIKE, Trails, CST, and Trades Program Directors in the form of all the above when needed.
Works with Budget and Foundation to provide accurate information to Grant reports.
Works with IR to pull quarterly data re: enrollment, retention, graduation, and placement.
Helps compile annual reports for grantors and program reviews for ADHE.

Serves as first point of contact for customers and visitors to the Shewmaker Center for Global Business Development and the Bike and Trail Technician Education Center and sets the tone for the customer service experience in the Trails and Trades division.
Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail. Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
Advises walk-in students on registration and payment options.
Assists with accreditation processes for BIKE, Trails, CST, and Trades.
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, helping maintain equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques, alongside the Bike Trails Lab Coordinator.
Provides information by answering questions and requests.
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies.
Pulls and monitors weekly budget reports as well as coordinates weekly grant billable spend documentation with foundation office.
Takes notes at meetings and organizes them by event or stakeholder group, distributing them to relevant parties after events.
Serves as point person for events, including reimbursements, tours, meetings, meals, travel, and/or guests.
