Job Responsibilities

HR Responsibilities and Staff Management:

• Managing staff leave.

● Coordinate and assist the promotion exercise annually by gathering information to support compensation review and address various level staff’s queries on compensation matters, with support from Executive & Ops team

Talent Management, Succession Planning and Employee Development

● Partner BUs/team leaders and provide recommendation in annual talent identification and succession planning exercise and provide recommendation for targeted development for staff, talents and potential successors

Employee Relations, Engagement & Change Management

● Be a facilitator and HR advisor to senior leaders in managing matters pertaining to industrial relations, employee grievances, conduct and discipline.

Performance Management

● Partner HODs/Head of Division, providing advice and guidance in the staff performance management

● Provide advice to staff on performance appraisal exercise

● Establish strong partnership with the business units to drive organisational effectiveness while implementing HR programmes and initiatives

Requirements

● Degree with at least 5-8 years of relevant working experience in the Human Resources function.

● Experience in TCM health and wellness industry would be advantageous.

● Post-graduate diploma in human resource management or IHRP Certified Professional (IHRP-CP) would be advantageous

● Good Knowledge of Employment Act and Labour Laws

● Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels, in both spoken and written English and Chinese

● Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability according to changing needs and priorities

● Collaborative and is comfortable working in a matrix structure with multiple priorities

● Resourceful and possess strong initiative to drive changes

● Ability to work independently as well as be active team members within and across the HR team.

Strategic HR Management

• Business Partnership: Collaborate with senior management to align HR initiatives with business objectives, providing insights and advice on workforce planning and employee relations.

• Interviewing and Selection: Lead the interviewing and selection process, ensuring the right fit for the company culture and requirements.
• Work Pass Management: Manage the application, renewal, and cancellation of work passes (WP, SP, LOC), ensuring compliance with MOM regulations.

Employee Development and Engagement

• Training and Development: Design and implement training programs to support employee growth and development, focusing on upskilling and career progression.
• Employee Engagement: Organize employee bonding activities and company events to foster teamwork and strengthen employee engagement.
• Employee Onboarding and Orientation: Oversee the onboarding and orientation process, ensuring new employees are integrated into the company culture effectively.

Administration and Compliance

• Documentation and Record Keeping: Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping of employee files, including appointment letters, termination letters, and warning letters, while maintaining data privacy and confidentiality.
• Insurance and Bonds: Manage security bonds, undertaking bonds, and insurance policies, including project insurance and equipment insurance, ensuring risk mitigation and compliance.
