Design Manager reports to Design Lead and collaborates with Studio Manager. You will be responsible for implementing an appropriate framework and best practices and manage the design delivery process and essay a bridging role between the design and the delivery for Hospitality interior design projects.

Key responsibilities

• Understands and adheres to the Project Plan including project design and Financial goals.
• Drive the project design forward with the Design Lead from kick-off to completion.
• Support the Design Lead as required during Concept and Schematic phases and in preparation of presentations

As our Director of Interior Design, you will be responsible for the overall vision and strategy of that practice, as well as overall quality and performance. You will drive the combination of design and client strategy that leads to unique solutions with significate market impact, developing and implementing relationship strategies with clients, hotel brands, and others that reinforce our position as a preeminent luxury hospitality design firm.

You will serve as a primary liaison to clients, representing BLINK’s design and professional performance, and you will be a public face of BLINK, actively involved in marketing and business development in a seller-doer role, responsible for new and repeat business, with a target of S$5+ million per fiscal year.

BLINK is organized around a highly collaborative studio model. As our Finance Controller for BLINK Design Group, you will be part of the management team, report to the Director and work on financial strategy and implementation for the region and be involved in driving initiatives for effective business performance. Working closely with the leadership, you will be responsible for financial reporting to management and the board of directors, as well as compliance with government regulations, setting metrics for financial success, devising insightful MIS, assessing business profitability from existing and new clients. You will be a sounding board and trusted advisor, offering support, guidance and training to the BLINK Design Group leadership and project leaders for financial and contractual decisions across multiple geographies.

Responsibilities

● Instill accounting and reporting systems, to facilitate accurate and timely reporting plus internal controls
