Accounts

• Maintain full set of accounts
• Perform daily bookkeeping activities such as sales, purchases, receivables, payables
• Ensure proper accounting records are maintained and procedures are adhered to
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST filing and other tax compliances
• Prepare month-end, financial year-end closing, monthly balance sheet, P&L, bank reconciliations
• Prepare and submit monthly CPF submissions
• Manage timely closing process and reconciliations
• Manage fixed assets; balance sheet accounts reconciliations
• Manage the implementation and monitoring of the Fee Protection Scheme in the school
• Support and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Liaise with the corporate secretary on work such as resolution preparation, submission to ACRA, maintenance of various registers, etc
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and external parties to ensure relevant statutory compliance.

Admin/HR

• Support admin function for purchasing, report typing and invoicing
• Administer payroll, CPF & staff benefits

Others

• Other ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned by the HOD

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Accountancy or any other relevant qualification
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Independent, meticulous, and able to communicate effectively
• Proficient in MYOB, ABSS or other similar accounting software
• Prior experience in EduTrust PEIs and/or SSG Registered Training Providers will be a bonus

As our Executive/Senior Executive - Finance , you will be managing the full set of accounts as well as compliance requirements.

● You will be in charge of the GL accounting and Balance Sheet Reconciliations

● You will liaise with the auditors, manage and drive the internal and Statutory Audit to closure, including the Tax Audits and other ac-hot audit assignments

● You will interact and resolve all the audit queries as and when they may arise though General ledger (including AP/AR review)

● You will oversee the processing and payment of vendor invoices and employee claims

● You will partner the internal sourcing and procurement team to resolve vendor related issues

● Manage vendor relationship and communicating to vendor on status of payments

● You will be in charge of the month end closure, complete Fixed Assets, Currency Revaluation, Prepayments and Accruals, as well as Revenue/Cost Accrual based on Percentage of Completion within the timeline of the closing

● You will prepare the balance sheet reconciliation schedules for management review

● You will handle the inter-Company Invoicing and Reconciliation, on a monthly basis

REQUIREMENTS

● You held minimum Accounting Diploma with at least 3 years experience in accounting processes and have excellent knowledge in MS Excel

As our Finance Controller for BLINK Design Group, you will be part of the management team, report to the Director and work on financial strategy and implementation for the region and be involved in driving initiatives for effective business performance. Working closely with the leadership, you will be responsible for financial reporting to management and the board of directors, as well as compliance with government regulations, setting metrics for financial success, devising insightful MIS, assessing business profitability from existing and new clients. You will be a sounding board and trusted advisor, offering support, guidance and training to the BLINK Design Group leadership and project leaders for financial and contractual decisions across multiple geographies.

Responsibilities

● Instill accounting and reporting systems, to facilitate accurate and timely reporting plus internal controls

● Group Consolidation for audit / Management reporting incl. inter-co elimination

● Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

● Overseeing billing & revenue management in the region and work closely with Studio Directors, Project Managers to ensure accurate project accounting

● Ensure Local Financial Statutory Compliance including local FRS/IFRS, Audit,Taxation and government regulations

● Improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance

● Working with business partners, technical teams, project managers and other teams to identify and deliver projects to drive expansion, free cash flow, and improved customer experience

● Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies

Specific responsibilities

· Improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance

· Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies

· Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered

· Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams

· Providing insights on analysis of operational performance, industry dynamics, macroeconomic trends and the competitor landscape

· Working with business partners, technical teams, project managers and other teams to identify and deliver projects to drive expansion, free cash flow, and improved customer experience

· Overseeing billing and fee management in the region and work closely with Studio Directors, Project Managers to ensure accurate project accounting
