You will directly support the applicable Cost Engineering Manager.....
- You will directly support the applicable Cost Engineering Manager (CEM) for Combat Weapon and Sensors cost estimating (SEA05C4)
- You will provide cost estimates, business, economic and analytical products in support of major programs across the entire NAVSEA portfolio.
- You will utilize knowledge and experience of cost estimating or industrial analysis and related process to develop and guide products.
- You will develop Program Life Cycle Cost Estimates (PLCCEs) and document / brief results in support of the program office decisions while coordinating with the PEO’s and other outside organizations and stakeholders.
- You will develop spreadsheets, technical documentation, and briefings along with the use of statistics and software tools to develop mathematical based cost models.
- You will be responsible for the development of the work, and will plan, assign, coordinate, and review the products of an assigned team.
- You will possess demonstrated knowledge of cost estimating and related processes and will be required to reconcile Program Office Estimates with external Independent Cost Estimates/Assessments/Positions.
- You will be responsible for documenting and briefing results of analysis to senior leadership.
- You will lead and support evaluations, assessments and reconciliations of technical reports and analysis from other sources.
- You will lead a team of cost engineers/analysts, warfare center resources and contractor support in the development of estimates and analysis in support of assigned division and interface with programs, PEOs, technical experts, and stakeholders.
