Job Description:

• To monitor project quality plan, work program and assist Project Manager in monitoring project cash flow and progressive claim preparation.
• Provide oversight in managing all necessary resources throughout the entire project from start-up through closeout and ensure that owner’s expectation is met.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

1. Process Management

 Responsible for the review of design drawings of the new data center, identify problems from T&C perspective and propose revisions to ensure system’s ability for commissioning.

 Responsible for the formulation of testing and acceptance standards for new data centers.

 Responsible for the development of T&C plan and schedule for new data centers.

 Review all multi-discipline T&C documents to ensure they are compliant with the specifications and standards of the data center project.

 Maintain a high degree of coordination with the headquarters, and promoting the standardization of T&C process of new data centers.

2. Project Management

 Ensure all commissioning and testing events are executed up to standard and quality manner on-site.

 Lead and manage commissioning related resources, both internal and external across projects.

 Responsible for T&C progress tracking and reporting, highlight any potential risks to management.

 Assist the operation manager of the new data center to complete the standardization of handover, operation and maintenance.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in electrical, automation, mechanical and HVAC or related majors.

2. Minimum 5 years’ experience in various construction commissioning roles on site; candidate with less experience will be considered as Engineer role

3. Familiar with data center design and construction standard are preferred.

4. Experience of T&C standard for hyper-scale data center, large cloud service provider or data center for financial industry are preferred.

5. Strong leadership and Organizational skills, be able to communicate and coordinate cross- department.

Job Responsibilities

• Operation and management of data center infrastructure to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
•  Safe operation, maintenance, and management of the entire data center's infrastructure, assets, and vendor management.
• Coordinate with government departments for electricity, fire safety, and water supply to ensure energy and safety measures.
• Ensure safe operation of the data center by organizing and overseeing employee tasks systematically.
• Develop, review, and release SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs related documents to facilities team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. 
• More than ten years of relevant experience in medium/large scale data center (2N M&E infrastructure system, Distributed-Redundancy) infrastructure operations and at least three years of management experience.
• High awareness of safety risks to ensure reliable data center operations.
•  Proficient in the operation and maintenance of high-voltage/low-voltage/UPS/diesel generators/HVAC/plumbing/fire safety/security/access control/monitoring systems.
• Familiar with data center standards such as TIA-942, GB/T 50174-2008; Knowledge of ITSM concepts and standards, including ITIL/ISO 20000; and knowledge of incident/change/problem management processes.
•  Effectively manage and drive the data center's basic operations team, conduct operational services including daily operations, emergency response, and continuous improvement.
• Effectively manage data center vendor services to ensure outsourced services such as maintenance and engineering meet data center operational requirements and company management policy requirements.
•  Ability to plan resources based on existing data center facilities, power, and cooling capacities, and develop solutions for specific customer resource needs.

1. Prepare a master plan for preventive maintenance of all equipment in the plant.
2. Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of preventive maintenance based on fault records.
3. Assists and prepare reports, data analysis, and all the documents as requested by the maintenance engineer or engineering manager.
4. Issue PR (N6, N8) perform OV, create workorder, and make sure all the PM tasks are completed and closed in JDE system
5. Roll arrangement for plant mill A and mill B (work together with production and maintenance team regarding the roll change schedule)
6. Arrange monthly break down meeting and work with the maintenance team to analyze the root cause of any failed machines

As a Mechanical Project Engineer in the project team, you will be responsible to provide high quality engineering services and specifications for the Planning, Design, Construction, Start-up, and Commissioning of your discipline specific Facilities systems in support of the project.

You will participate in Project Design and Scope Development, Documentation, and Control Change, Vendor Selection, Project Tendering, and onsite Discipline Project Safety, Coordination and Execution for your discipline.

The candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years of experience managing MEP projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. He or she will have a strong working knowledge of all aspects of Mechanical systems and be able to effectively communicate with all project stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Project Team Discipline Lead

• Provide input and support to the Project Manager during the development of BDC Procedures (Project Execution Plan and Construction execution plan).
• Coordinate with GFC, Local Project Team, Vendors, AE, GC etc. to ensure successful project completion.
• Meeting regularly with all stakeholders (GFC, end users, operations, project, contractors, vendors, etc.) to discuss project progress and issues that may arise during the project execution.
• Track, Prepare and Report progress weekly on Project progress, risk, schedule, cost for Discipline. Overseeing the project team’s work to ensure that they meet deadlines and milestones. 
• Ensure all Project scope is executed to Safety Standards and requirements. Review all Job plans for high risk during construction in discipline related areas /scope.
• Review of project documents for compliance with company standards and procedures to ensure that they meet requirements and specifications.

• Coordinate with GC for schedule of GC attendance at site for critical equipment, complex system packages and monitoring the GC presence as per schedule to be prepared and agreed during project execution.

  • Control the schedule and quality of discipline BIM model.

  • Ensure that all issues and clashes are resolved before GC produces shop drawings.
  • Ensure the GC shop drawing is aligned with BIM model.
  • Ensure GC has used BIM models for constructability studies prior to development of shop drawings.
  • Ensure space management done with BDC operations team input.
