The opening is a full time permanent position at junior level. Reporting to Senior Accounts Executive and/or Finance Manager, the role will work in close liaison with both the reconciliation and accounts receivable teams.   
The main purpose of the positions is to provide assistance and support to the Finance Manager in relevant aspects of accounting functions such as purchase and sales ledger maintenance, processing invoices, supplier reconciliation, bank reconciliation, inventory management and pricing. Part of the role and duties will be performing posting of the accounting information in the accounting system.

Candidates for this junior role must possess at least a Certificate or Diploma qualification in Accounting/Book Keeping.Candidate should have at least one or two years of accounting experience working ideally in retail industry. Our client is a leading feeder solutions provider in the maritime industry. The co is based in town. We are seeking for a hands-on treasury accounting analyst to join the treasury team.

Summary: As a Treasury Analyst, you will support the Treasury Manager in all aspects of Treasury functions. You are responsible for managing the Company’s group cash, working capital and foreign exchange risk. These include cash management activities, plan and execute cash flow management of all business segments of the organization (and doing payments). You are one who enjoy seeking new opportunities and challenges.

Reports to: Treasury Manager (with 20+ years of exp).

Role and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily treasury operations and cash management activities including SAP F110 payment run, manual payments and funding activities.
• Manage the company's cash flow by working closely with internal stakeholders in forecasting cash needs, ensuring that sufficient funds are available to meet financial obligations.
• Identify payment failure RCA, rectification and payment reissue.
• Monthly Bank Reconciliation
• Timely and Accurate accounting posting & month-end closing activities.
• Implementation of Treasury Management System & Treasury Process improvements.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or finance from a reputable University.
• 2-5 years of Corporate Treasury experience required.
• Experience implementing or using Treasury Management System is required. Exp using/implementing Kyriba is highly relevant.
• Has exp doing SAP F110 payment runs, manual payments and managing day to day payment operations(including payment reissue and payment inquiries handling) for min 2 yrs.
• Ok to doing the accounting posting and month end closing activities as part of the job scope
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills with superior attention to detail.
• Good organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Driven and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong quantitative and spreadsheet skills.
• Prior experience in the shipping industry will be useful but this is really not a must
