Job Description
The Associate Director, Clinical Supply Operations (CSO) within Global Clinical Supply (GCS) is responsible for supporting launch and subsequently overseeing the clinical supply packaging and distribution operations at our Company at Rahway Cold Chain Center. This role involves working with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and customers within and outside of GCS to ensure efficient and compliant processes, as well as business continuity.
Key responsibilities of the Associate Director, Clinical Supply Operations include:
Supporting the implementation and leading the operational readiness of a new clinical cold chain supply packaging and distribution operation in Rahway.
Overseeing the Cold Chain Center's distribution, inventory, and warehouse activities, including inventory management, metrics, utilization, and inspection readiness once the facility is live.
Ensuring efficient and compliant processes by owning and contributing to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) specific to the Cold Chain Center as well as ensuring representation of the Cold Chain Center in harmonized global procedures.
Effectively collaborate with other CSO nodes, including partner group interaction optimization (Packaging, Label Room, Ops Planning, Quality, Master planning, Bulk manufacturing, Analytical for cleaning/swabbing/investigations) to enable business continuity and portfolio needs
Build partnership with quality teams to ensure agility and speed in meeting portfolio needs.
Flexibly managing responsibilities and activities across CSO workstreams to support the business.
Collaborating closely with Global Clinical Trial Operations (GCTO) and Regulatory teams to ensure regulatory needs are included in the clinical supply chain and on-time arrival of products.
Conducting capacity modeling and resource management, including presenting to leadership.
Partnering with drug product manufacturing to develop, implement, and maintain playbooks and processes for integrated operations within clinical supply.
Seeking opportunities for innovation and process improvement, and supporting change as needed.
Education Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
Required Experience and Skills:
At least 7-10 years of experience in production operations, technical project management, engineering, and/or management role within the pharmaceutical industry, with an understanding of clinical supply needs, GMP, packaging, and distribution operations.
Experience in pharmaceutical packaging and distribution operations will be highly valued.
Strong understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), including FDA and EMEA requirements.
Experience in leading teams, developing talent, and mentoring or leading complex projects.
Demonstrated strong project leadership of cross-functional teams through project planning and execution.
Experience in collaborating with vendors or other external partners.
Ability to work effectively across boundaries and build strong collaborative relationships with other groups.
Strong abilities in stakeholder management and building cross-functional networks.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with different global professional levels and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

Global Clinical Supply (GCS) organization is within our company's Research & Development (R&D) Division and is accountable for managing the 'end-to-end' integrated clinical supply chain across all R&D portfolio to enable the execution of any clinical trial using a company asset. GCS supports more than 300 Phase I-IV clinical trials run inhouse, 400+ outsourced or run by partners as well as our company's ISS clinical trials (300+). GCS is accountable for the planning, sourcing, labeling, packaging and delivery of clinical supplies to clinical sites across more than 60+countries, all in accordance with US and WW regulations, company policies and Standard operating procedures.
The Executive Director, Clinical Supply Operations is the US Head, a key part of GCS Leadership Team and is accountable for state of the art execution across all GCS facilities in the US. The role is accountable for Operations planning across the GCS work centers, will oversee all Packaging and Labelling operations in the region and will oversee all distribution from US to support all global clinical trials for R&D across all the modalities. The output of these facilities support a global portfolio across more than 60+ countries, ensuring exquisite delivery and performance and excellent quality and compliance of the company policies and standards, GCP, GMP and all country level regulations, to ensure the right clinical supplies are in the right place at the right time. The role will collaborate closely with the Europe Clinical Supply Operations head to ensure global standards and alignment.

Moderna is seeking a Specialist, Clinical Supply Systems to assist in the operational management of IRT systems and vendors. This position will work collaboratively across several therapeutic area teams as well as cross functionally to gather relevant information and utilize relevant systems to develop and implement IRT systems. • Successful completion of an Internship/Residency in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience within the past five (5) years in the independent practice of clinical work in a mental health setting.
• Providers must be able to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions.
• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands.
• Obtain practice privileges from the servicing military medical treatment facility.

The Office of Research Integrity and Assurance (ORIA) supports the Cornell research community by providing guidance on research integrity and responsible conduct of research. ORIA oversees research compliance programs at Cornell in research integrity, financial conflicts of interest related to research, export and import controls, research with live vertebrate animals, human participants, and regulated biological materials. ORIA establishes research integrity and research assurance in the following functional areas: Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee; Institutional Biosafety Committee; Institutional Review Board; Conflicts of Interest; Responsible Conduct of Research; Export Controls; and Research Security.
The Export Controls Office, under the direction of the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation, is responsible for helping the University community understand and comply with export control laws and regulations. Research Security is tasked with Cornell’s research security program, including compliance with National Security Presidential Memorandum-33 requirements.
Your Mission
As the Export Control and Research Security Officer, you will serve a critical role by ensuring Cornell research complies with legal and regulatory obligations related to export and import control, research security, and all relevant University policies. Reporting to the Chief Research Compliance Officer, you will lead designated compliance efforts across Cornell and serve as a university authorized representative with governmental agencies. In your oversight capacity, you will maintain and continuously improve a robust, integrated, and effective compliance program; partner with Cornell and government stakeholders to identify and address potential problems; and provide strategic oversight to staff and faculty with related responsibilities within their departments. You will bring to the role a thorough understanding of related laws and regulations, such as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and Export Administration Regulations, and proven skills in risk-based analysis, decision-making, communications, and team leadership.

Responsibilities will include:
Managing and further developing the export compliance program and ensuring appropriate risk protection.
Working closely with researchers, staff, and internal and external stakeholders to assess and address existing and potential export control and compliance issues.
Serving as administrator for export control software programs; as university authorized representative for U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security’s SNAP-R system, and primary contact for export control questions and audits; and as the University’s Empowered Official for the Department of State.
Developing policies and procedures and providing necessary direction and guidance to the university community.
Developing and providing training and other resources to campus.
Preparing, monitoring, and auditing Technology Control Plans; drafting, signing, and submitting License applications; and serving as primary liaison between custom’s broker and Cornell University.
Working with Government Relations, University Compliance, and the Office of Vice Provost for International Affairs to ensure cross-functional compliance issues are addressed and regulatory issues are responded to.

Effective oral and written communication skills, including development and delivery of training and presentations to individuals and groups; developing written guidance, directions, and procedures that are end-user friendly and focused; and in engaging external and internal stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Proven effective analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead teams, work through formal and informal decision-making networks, and apply risk-based analyses and decision-making.
