Social Media Account Executive
Job responsibilities:
· Be the main point of contact to the client day-to-day.
· Ensure the smooth running of social media campaigns– from communicating to all members of the team including creatives, to facing clients and reporting to the account director.
· Manage social media accounts across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram and TikTok.
· Build a relationship with the clients based on a foundation of trust and respect.
· Work closely with the creative team to influence the development of the highest quality of creative work by sharing knowledge of the client/business/brand and demonstrating strong creative judgment and basic strategic recommendations.
· Work with content creators (influencers, content portals) to create sponsored content.
· Work closely with our analysts to measure, analyze and report growth & success of social media accounts.
· Researches and understands the brand, its category and its competitors to provide added value for the client while staying well-informed on marketing and media trends.
Requirements:
· Preferred to have a degree in a relevant field such as communications or marketing.
· Fantastic communication skills across both written and oral.
· Addicted to social media and genuinely excited by digital technologies.
· True team player who embraces collaboration.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· A keen attention to details, articulate, resourceful and full of ideas.
· Well organized and able to handle multiple challenging deadlines.

The role
As the Senior Account Executive, you will be a core member within our consumer team, working alongside seasoned PR experts who will mentor and support you in your growth. This is an opportunity to elevate your skills whilst working across several leading brands in Herd MSL’s enviable portfolio –spanning across (but not limited to) the travel, health and fitness, music streaming and FMCG categories. There is no typical day – you will be stepping into an agile and dynamic environment where you will have the platform to leverage your unique strengths, knowledge of industry trends, and passion for creative ideas that drive both coverage and business results. · Effectively monitor cross-channel brand performance and reputation.
· Manage all internal communications and projects as it relates to client needs. This include directing creative to apply client feedback to deliverables.
· Become educated on relevant client industries, relevant influencers in each industry, product information, competitive landscape and overall trendspotting for proactive/reactive timely social activations.
· Be part of the team that pulls data and research components needed for new business pitches.
Requirements/Skills:
· At least 2+ years of social media management experience
· Mastery of social platforms
· Demonstrated expertise in core MS platforms such as Excel and PowerPoint
· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
· Presentation skills are key (we’ll help home these skills)
· Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving skills
· Excellent project management and organization skills
· Ability to work successfully with teams on multiple projects under tight deadlines (when needed)
· Demonstrates initiative and desire to expand personal knowledge to better client practice
