Job Description

• Deliveries of timely group financial results to all stakeholders through close collaboration with the regional business managers
• Owner of accounting metrics and reporting, providing recommendations on improvements and best practices

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Review large project pricing, progress and profitability. Knowledge of Cancer Mutations and Markers is preferred to enable quotation development.

· Support business leaders in ROA for pricing, strategy, market size mapping, investments required for business growth.

· Liaise with US Finance team closely on the revenue recognition, actual vs budget performance and US GAAP standards. Experience and extensive knowledge of ASC-606 & US-GAAP is must.

· Review Distributor and strategic partnership contracts to ensure terms are favourable to Guardant

· Prepare operational reports using Tableau and Macros. Hand on experience in Data Management and Analytics is a must.

· Consolidate regional P&Ls from Japan, Rest Of Asia, China & BioPharma Business into AMEA P&L.

· Track and report business performance metrics with the senior management and key stakeholders.

· Lead Long Range Plan, Annual Budget, Rolling forecast (LE1 – LE3) for AMEA. Liaise with regional finance and business leaders to finalize the submission.

· Identify and discuss risks and opportunities with business leaders for Quarterly rolling forecast for corporate submission.

· Evaluate pricing bundle and bulk discounts and its impact to annual revenue.

· Lead the weekly forecast and pipeline meetings with AMEA business leaders.

· Track and analyse the business performance between actual vs budget, actual vs forecast as well as its operating metrics and KPI.

Qualifications

· 10-15 years’ experience in FP&A or Accounting firms, preferably in healthcare industries.

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA a plus

· Accustomed to multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting multiple tight deadlines in a fast-growing environment with frequently changing priorities.

· Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.

· Familiarity with Hyperion and Oracle preferred.

Job description: • Responsible for undertaking overseas bond business such as local urban investment companies and state-owned enterprises, and developing projects for primary issuance and secondary trading of bonds; • Design issuance plans based on customer needs, prepare regulatory filing materials, assist issuers in communicating with regulatory authorities, and promote the implementation of bond business; • Actively follow up on project progress, ensure the quality of contracted projects, and maintain good communication with issuers; • Keep on touch with domestic and foreign investors, including banks, securities, fund and other institutional investors; • Actively develop customer resources, government and channel resources; • Collaborate with group account managers to jointly market to issuers. Job Requirements: • Bachelor's degree or above in accounting, finance or related major; • At least 5 years of experience in securities and banking, at least 3 years of experience in bond underwriting business. SFC Type 1 license holder is prefered; • Good social relations and project resources, excellent market development capabilities, be able to independently undertake bond project; • Familiar with the processes and compliance requirements of regulatory agencies, government agencies and intermediaries; • A Hong Kong work visa is required, can accept more business trips to the mainland

Objective
Provide financial leadership to GSK Singapore; partner with the General Manager and key stakeholders in setting and achieving financial targets (sales number of +40m) for the business. Provide insightful financial analysis and input to optimize resource allocation and ROI for the business. Establish a robust financial internal control framework to ensure the compliance to the policy, statutory and tax regulations. Directly manage and lead the Finance Department of GSK Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, preparation & presentation of strategic plans, budgets & forecasts for GSK Singapore
• Review the operations of the businesses, making necessary analysis & recommendations to local management to enable delivery of Financial targets.
• Provide insightful financial and business input to decision making and evaluation of strategic options to optimize resource allocation and ROI. Provide key counsel to the General Manager on business issues.
• Lead & manage the preparation of monthly, interim & annual accounts so that they are complaint with local & corporate statutory guidelines.
• Manage credit control policies & working capital to maximize cash flow generated from operations
• Lead development of 3 year plans for the business
• Provides product analysis /profitability for sales /marketing decisions
• Proposes necessary actions to manage expenses
• Key communication link with Regional Finance
