The Area Director of Engineering (ADOE) role provides oversight, direction, and support to properties that fall under the respective region. · Develop, share, and implement Engineering best practices that drive operational efficiencies, reduce unnecessary maintenance, and labor costs, and improve asset value.

· Review in detail the engineering planned preventive maintenance and quality assurance of the asset upkeep and update it accordingly.

· Ensure that properties and engineering policies and SOPs meet the established standards set by the FS. Duties include maintaining strong overall quality control of engineering best practices made by FS adhering to reliability, performance that leads to enhance guest experience.

· Undertake self-audits for all participating properties of all nine (9) engineering components under FS Engineering Asset Management System (EAMS).

· Review legacy issues of each property and maintenance software Hotsos (Computer Maintenance Management System) data of all complaints for at least the last three (3) years and prepare an action plan accordingly.

3) Programs and Initiatives

· Actively participate in all Four Seasons audit programs and processes (Energy, WSP, NALCO and any third party) and develop strategy and actions for critical items as well as energy conservation measures (ECMs) and implement them to achieve operational excellence and environmental reduction targets.

· Proactively manage energy and other utilities to reduce consumption and cost, including timely and accurate reporting.

· Support planning, budgeting, and scheduling of Property Operations, Maintenance and Energy Cost (POMEC), renovations, CAPEX projects, preventive maintenance, product enhancements, and FS ESG initiatives.

· Review Operating Budgets and 3–5-year CAPEX plans.

· Identify opportunities for cost reductions or potential ROI (Return on Investment) projects, prioritizing Engineering CAPEX replacement plans.

· For property renovations, review design and construction drawings, Mechanical, Engineering and Plumbing designs, and undertake site review for compliance with current Four Seasons MEP Standards and local building codes.

· Enhance Guest experience by:

· Implementation of Product Specific Perfect Room Program and quarterly and annual guestroom engineering checklist.

· Review and analyze HotSOS data to reduce dispatch reports and guest complaints that are recorded in the Glitch reports.

4) Team/Relationships

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with other member of multi-disciplinary Engineers to review load profiles and design the Energy Storage System to meet load profiles requirements set out in the technical requirements;
• Developing, maintaining and updating engineering standards;
• Ensuring compliance with Company quality program;
• Provide recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection;
• Perform complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles;
• Independently applies advanced engineering techniques and analysis problems and methods;
• Provides technical support to Sales and Marketing or Business development;
• Supports multiple projects on the complex technical challenges;
• Develops and applies advanced engineering concepts and approaches to unique engineering problems
• Develop battery container layouts and coordinate with electrical, civil and PV engineering team for complete packages for installation;
• Develop single-line and three-line diagrams with required electrical details for the battery system in accordance with local codes and requirements;
• Model energy storage system performance, coordinate, obtain and integrate BMS, EMS and SCADA designs for the battery system from third party monitoring companies;
• Develop technical specifications and scopes of work for owners, engineering firms and contractors.
• Designs for different types of battery enclosure type solutions like cabinet type, container type, building type storage solution;
• Identify and quantify energy conservation opportunities associated with Batteries / PCS / HVAC / FFS for different enclosure systems;
• Investigates design factors such as but not limited to the function, durability, performance, efficiency, and contractual requirements;
• Other scope of work to be assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the areas of Renewable Energy Systems, preferably with a specialisation in power systems, Solar PV, Battery Storage, Wind Energy Systems;
• Minimum Degree in Engineering or equivalent;
• Knowledgeable and experience on the different parameters for design, selection, and sizing of the batteries as well leveraging the parameters to optimise sizes of the batteries;
• Experience on Battery Energy Storage System design, chemistry selection, performance modelling, lifetime estimation simulations of batteries, degradation and augmentation schedules, visualization of business model (duty cycle) would be advantageous;
• Experience in design of battery system sizing;
• Strong project management skills and experience in an international, multicultural environment;
• Experience as a user of the AutoCAD

Our client is a local Audio Video (AV) System Integration Company. They are now recruiting an Systems Engineer to be part of their Engineering team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East Area - easily accessible.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Configure, test, and commission integrated audiovisual and video conferencing systems.
• Analyze schematics to grasp technical and functional requirements for solution implementation.
• Provide end-user training on system usage.
• Troubleshoot and debug AV systems, including firmware updates.
• Support before and after-sales services.
• Perform additional assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum ITE in IT related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Audio Visual solution
• Proficient in programming languages and control system design
