Le concepteur électronique participe au développement et au support de divers assemblages de cartes de circuits électronique nouveaux et existants. Cela inclut l’utilisation d’outils de conception assisté tel que PADS, ORCAD, Windchill, etc. Le candidat sera impliqué dans tous les aspects de la conception des cartes, de la création du schéma jusqu’au support en production en incluant la sélection des composants électroniques, conception de circuit à l’aide de FPGA, des logiciels embarqués, des diagrammes de mise à la terre et la qualification du produit une fois intégrées.
Les tâches de conception impliquent aussi l’utilisation de CPLD, de FPGA, et de microcontrôleurs ainsi que leurs logiciels embarqués associés. La gamme de cartes électroniques conçues à l’usine de Thales à Montréal comprend des processeurs vidéo, des circuits flexibles, des circuits d’interface et d’alimentation conçues pour des caméras infrarouges en respectant les spécifications militaires. Les cartes à développer peuvent aussi être utilisées dans des outils spéciaux et des équipements de test pour l’automatisation de la production. L’approche du candidat devrait être méthodique et rigoureuse, tout en possédant une bonne connaissance des processus de fabrication afin de pouvoir contribuer et interagir avec une équipe hautement qualifiée et multidisciplinaire. Une expertise dans les technologies matérielles tel qu’Ethernet (RTP, GIGE Vision), HD-SDI, Coaxpress, et MIPI, ainsi qu’avoir une bonne base sur logicielles Git, C#, Python et le système d’exploitation Linux est aussi souhaitable afin de pouvoir utiliser les applications.
Principaux domaines de responsabilité
Participer au processus de conception et de documentation de la solution matériel et logiciel proposée pour les assemblages électroniques nouveaux ou existants.
• Développer, simuler, et valider des circuits FPGA à l’aide du langage de programmation VHDL et des outils des manufacturiers de puces (Quartus Prime, ISE, Vivado, etc.)
• Participer aux revues de conception, aux activités de vérification et de validation associées
• Mener la qualification afin de respecter les standards telles que la compatibilité électromagnétique et les autres tests environnementaux militaires;
• Améliorer les logiciels embarqués / de support pour répondre aux besoins clients;
• Concevoir et développer des stations de test pour automatiser les processus de fabrication
• Travailler avec les sous-traitants pour améliorer la documentation des cartes électroniques afin de faciliter leur fabrication;
• Proposer des améliorations aux procédures de fabrication en utilisant l’approche LEAN.
• Soumettre des produits aux procédures de validation et émettre des rapports qui si rattache
Une connaissance approfondie dans trois (3) des champs de compétences suivants est essentielle :
• Normes et standards pour application militaire;
• Connaissance et expérience en conception de circuits imprimés rigides de haute densité dans le contexte d’implémentation d'interface mémoire (DDRx), de SerDes (HD-SDI, MIPI interface), de processor, SoC et FPGA.
• Connaissance et expérience en conception de circuits imprimés flexibles pour répondre à des solutions de développement d'interconnexions électromécaniques
• Connaissance des standards de signal vidéo actuels (HD-SDI, Coaxpress, GIGE Vision, MIPI) et passés (1080p, NTSC, PAL)
Développement de bancs de tests fonctionnels pour les circuits imprimés;
• Développement de logiciels d'automatisation de tests sur PC (C# et C++);
• Développement de logiciel embarqués en C et / ou C++;
• Méthodes de test d'assemblage électronique et tests tels que «bed of nails», «Flying probes» et JTAG.
• Langage de programmation et de "script" comme outils pour effectuer des tests de régression et de validation
• Connaissance des processus de qualification et de validation des logiciels: matrices de conformité, y compris les procédures de test d'acceptation, la gestion de «bug base» ou d'autres types de défaillance, le cas échéant.
Qualifications minimales
Les candidats retenus devront au minimum posséder un baccalauréat en génie électrique, associé à une expérience professionnelle de 2 à 3 ans d'expérience dans des environnements de fabrication ou de développement technique
• Bilingue est un atout (français/anglais) ;
• Bonne communication verbale et écrite.
