We're recruiting an IT Service Manager for our Mobile Devices Team across our North West digital hubs. It's great opportunity to join our community of experts at DWP Digital.
In this role, you'll champion technology, ensuring seamless user journeys, and collaborate closely with a diverse team of 20 professionals.

You'll be Service Manager for a Mobile Devices team which delivers tech used by over 100,000 colleagues to keep DWP moving, and to help us serve millions of people.
You'll manage supplier relationships, and manage live service to make sure we achieve value and outstanding customer service/
You work Incident, Knowledge, Problem, Change, and Demand Management and make sure the team is working on the right stuff at the right time.
You'll support DWP's wide range of IT services and technologies. Our IT estate is unique, with systems, services and tech that vary in scale, age and criticality.
The systems we support are integral to the DWP's management of critical data, and really important to that people that need on our support.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
- Experience of working within an environment that uses the Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) a Service Management Framework
- Demonstrable experience in aligning customer requirements and business needs with technical insight into Digital products and services
- Evidence of a proactive approach to problem solving and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels within an enterprise environment
- Experience of identifying and delivering a programme of Continuous Service Improvement for Digital Products and Services within an enterprise environment
- Experience of defining and managing mechanisms such as SLAs and OLAs to deliver to agreed performance targets in a cost effective and timely manner within an enterprise environment.

You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs either in Blackpool, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield.
We also have all the tools and tech we need to enable our people to work flexibly. We work a hybrid model with a mix of home working and some time in the office.
For the more junior of the two roles, the pay is £35,711 to £36,545
For the more senior role the pay is £40,201 to £43,347.
You'll be eligible for a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions of over 27%, worth over £10,000 a year.
