Job Description
· Train Room Attendants to ensure tasks are completed in accordance to the organisation’s standard.
· Prepare and issue room status report.
· Plan and forecasts resources, allocate work assignments to team members based on projected outlook
· Organise work activities for shift commencement and completion.
· Supervise work performance to ensure cleaning and maintenance are carried out in accordance with organisational procedures and standards.
· Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness level conforms to organisational standards.
· Monitor cleaning materials and ensure inventories are adequately stocked and properly maintained
· Report any loss of and/or damages to linens, furniture, fixtures and/or equipment to the Executive Housekeeper
· Coordinate the maintenance of rooms, public areas and housekeeping equipment
· Maintain key issuance and records
· Resolve guests' concerns and feedback
· Assist guests’ request in a timely manner and perform follow-up actions on the delivery and return of items
· Propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency and guest experience
· Implement innovation, improvement and sustainability plans for continuous improvement
· Monitor team's compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements on hygiene, and workplace safety and health
· Identify and monitor signs of potential security threats for appropriate follow-up
· Execute response and recovery actions during emergency situations
· Implement loss and risk prevention policies and procedures
· Monitor and report the daily attendance and punctuality of Room Attendants to Executive Housekeeper
· Prepare room attendant’s and room discrepancy reports
· Record “Lost and Found” according to organisation’s standard
· Generate and interpret operations reports for management reporting
· Provide coaching and feedback to improve team performance
· Monitor team performance and provide feedback for improvement
· To assist in the daily operations during the absence of the Housekeeping Supervisor/Linen Room Supervisor
· Assist in all official events and functions of the Centre
· Any other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
· Min ‘O’ level and above
· 2 – 3 years of supervisory experience in hospitality industry
· Self-motivated individual with excellent inter-personality
· Service-oriented attitude and outspoken personality with good oral and written communication skills
· Speaks and writes simple English
· Speaks and understand simple Mandarin and Malay
· Computer knowledge skills
· Excellent team player with time management and organisation skills
· Able to commit to work rotating shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays
