Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the safety, quality, and environmental and energy aspects of the production plant, managing and organizing production processes to ensure they operate efficiently.
• Ensure the department meets the standards required for management system certifications such as ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, IATF 16949, etc.
• Prepare and update essential documentation, including Production Work Instructions, forms, Quality and Environmental Impact Assessments, and Risk Assessments.
• Assess training needs annually or as needed to ensure production staff are properly skilled.
• Address any issues promptly that arise from customer feedback, audits, or other stakeholder concerns.
• Review materials and processes regularly to seek improvements.

This position head the EM (ROA) functions, accountable for EMs development, leads implementation of policies, standards, guidelines, develops innovative technologies and procedures for managing EMs, establishes and manages partnerships with strategic suppliers, to deliver strategic commitments. He / She manages with mutual partnership contracts and ensures proper risk assessments and capacity evaluations are performed regularly to prevent issues.

The responsibilities of this role are:

• Lead the EM (ROA) Function for end-to-end deliverables – Sourcing, qualification and management of external (contract) manufacturing partners
• Prepare strategic vendor contracts for long term partnership to deliver business needs (Assurance of supply/capacity, S&OP with CMO (Contract Manufacturing Organizations), Compliance, application of contract terms, value engineering & CIP, change management, operational performance management, Quality performance, NPI, product EOL, Inventory management, etc.)
• Establish performance management system with External Parties
• Ensures External Party capacity information (For Example stated capacity, firm capacity, future capacity plans, time horizon / lead times required, comments, concerns, etc) provisions for S&OP reviews
• Drives alignment with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to review external data collected in advance of the S&OP to identify capacity issues and/or pinch points that should be highlighted through the appropriate escalation mechanism.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

• At Minimum a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Engineering, Science and/or Business discipline
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial / business AND manufacturing (operations, quality, technology, planning) function required (or equivalent combination of education / experience).
• Able to read and appreciates Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic Drawings
• Experience in External and Contract Manufacturing, Supply Chain Processes & Quality Management system.

• Ensure proper documentation (including manuals) of all required information for product/projects
• Support product installations and any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair
• Provide product training and support internally and distributors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical or System related Engineering
• 3-5 years relevant experience in product development
• A good team player with strong interpersonal communication skill
• Self-motivated and able to take ownership of appointed task to follow through to completion with little supervision
• Familiar with programming languages C and C++
• Knowledge on Windows OS
• Basic understanding on schematic and Gerber

As our Product Development Hardware Engineer, you will join a team of specialised engineers to design, develop, test, and operationalise our indigenous and robustness cybersecurity products.

Job Description:

• We are looking for a hands-on and meticulous individual who possess knowledge on electronics hardware design and development.
• Develop state of the art Cybersecurity products for current and new market segments.
• Work closely with all the relevant stakeholders to translate product/Cybersecurity requirements into hardware design.
• Work as a product development team to collectively manage the product development lifecycle from hardware design, development testing, troubleshooting and production of the system.

Requirements:

• Experience in hardware printed circuit board designs, board layout, testing, implementation and EMC/EMI qualifications
• Experience in electronics circuit design/ simulation and analysis and PCB tools like Mentor Graphics
• Knowledge in information security and/or networking standards is an added advantage.
