Purchasing Assistant
Job descriptions:
Purchasing – to source suppliers/raw materials/products; negotiate pricing & terms; co-ordinates and liaise with suppliers; processing orders into computer.
Material Control – to assist in controlling & monitoring orders and ensuring timely delivery.
Co-ordinate and liaise with inter-departments (eg. Production,engineering,sales) regarding their purchase orders.
Job requirements:
· Min. GCE O level
· Min. 2-5 years relevant working experiences in purchasing
Understanding of supply chain principles, procurement strategies and inventory management.
Skills:
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Problem solving abilities.
· Good communication skills and team player
Proficiency in using computer software including Excel & Word.
