Position Summary

The Senior Director, Blue Climate Program, provides high-level strategic and programmatic leadership to the Conservation International (CI) Blue Climate program within the Center for Oceans and across a highly distributed and networked team at CI. They play a central and visible role in building and maintaining CI’s global leadership in ocean-climate conservation through ensuring the development and delivery of high-impact, high-quality, innovative programs to achieve CI’s vision and goals for ocean - climate solutions for biodiversity and communities including Blue Carbon, Coastal and Ocean Adaptation, Green-Gray Infrastructure, Coastal Resilience and Ocean-Climate policy.

The Senior Director is an essential member of the leadership team for the CI-wide Blue Climate program. As part of the highly-collaborative Blue Climate leadership team, the Senior Director develops and leads the vision and strategic direction of the program. The Senior Director is specifically responsible for ensuring alignment, coordination and maximum synergy of a highly-networked, high-performing team that spans multiple divisions and geographies across the institution and requires strong collaboration around resourcing and execution. • Co-lead development of vision, strategy, goals and priorities for CI’s climate-based solutions to ocean health including Blue Carbon, Coastal and Ocean Adaptation, Green-Gray Infrastructure, Coastal Resilience and Ocean-Climate policy. Position CI as a recognized and sought after leader in ocean climate change initiatives, including blue carbon mitigation, green-gray infrastructure, and adaptation. Ensure the Blue Climate, Center for Oceans, and other programs across CI are aligned and coordinated to achieve CI’s blue climate priorities.
• Lead the CI-wide Blue Carbon network team – spanning Center for Oceans, Field Programs, Center for Natural Climate Solutions, Conservation Finance Division, Policy Division, Development Team, Moore Center for Science, and the International Blue Carbon Institute - to ensure maximum impact of CI’s diverse and growing portfolio of blue carbon related programs. Qualifications

Responsibilities
 Manage and oversee the execution of cybersecurity projects from inception through completion.
 Coordinate project scope, goals, and deliverables with various internal teams, including IT, engineering, legal, and HR.
 Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with  company goals
and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases.
 Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project timelines, budget estimates, and resource allocation plans.
 Monitor and report on project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to ensure on-time project delivery within budget.
 Foster communication between project teams and other departments, acting as a single point of contact for project management issues.
 Implement effective measurement and tracking systems to ensure projects align with and directly support the achievement of strategic objectives.

 Work with the Program Management Office to align cybersecurity initiatives with company-wide project standards and goals.
 Collaborate with cybersecurity leadership to refine project outcomes and approaches, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals.
 Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments, and communicate with other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed to specification.
 Assist the Cybersecurity Program Manager in the development of project strategies and  the annual project portfolio.
 Contribute to the continuous improvement of the project management process, incorporating lessons learned and best practices into future projects.

As TPM for the APEX team, you will be working with dynamic engineering teams who are on a mission to build Services and Tools that will empower and scale across every engineering team at Grab.

The day-to-day activities:

• General project and program management - define and drive project timelines, milestones, track & report progress, resolve impediments.
• Quarterly roadmap planning and prioritization.
• Deliver programs that span across multiple cross-functional Engineering teams.
• Continuously find ways to help teams and the organization improve how it delivers.
• Facilitate Technical whiteboard sessions to troubleshoot project implementation details and remove blockers for the team.

The must haves:

• At least 8 years of expereince in Technical Program Management or a similar technical leadership role in the Tech Industry.
• Manage a variety of complex, cross-functional programs and lead all aspects of assigned program delivery.
• As a TPM, you will be working with a team focusing on building Infrastructure, platforms, and technologies for various Grab internal teams whose mission is to build products that impact the lives of millions of passengers, drivers, and merchants every day.
• Create and maintain the Delivery Roadmap for the teams you work closely with, along with the respective Tech Managers and Tech leaders.
• Define how to drive these programs and continuously find ways of improving this process in a data-driven manner.
• Embrace Grab’s culture and principles and promote an environment which embodies Grab’s Principle and Values.
• Project/Program delivery with a strong technical leadership background in various Cloud Product suites such as AWS/Azure/GCP etc.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, which will enable you to succeed in Grab's fast-paced environment.
• An understanding of Agile is desirable but not essential; more important than your specific skill set is your ‘can do’ attitude and willingness not to be constrained by your job description.
• Effective communication skills to handle comms with senior management, cross-functional teams, and a proven track record of getting things done/shipping projects.
• Experience working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment where autonomy and self-decision making is needed (to an extent) and able to juggle between different projects/tasks.
• Experience in leading a team of technical program managers in fulfilling organization goals and objectives is desirable
• Experience advising on technical solutions whenever needed is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in program managing complex Technology infrastructure projects.
• Experience in internal platform delivery.
