You will be responsible for overseeing the creation, management and development of Hotel's Social Media Strategy. This role coordinates with the internal eCommerce and PR teams to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating increased brand equity and company awareness in all areas of social media. 

The Assistant Social Media Manager’s job focuses on increasing brand awareness through the effective use of social media outlets. 

Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

• Ensure that you fully understand the business strategy and positioning of the Minor Hotels brand, and that you are able to effectively articulate this positioning in the marketplace.
• Maintain a personal up-to-date knowledge on all Minor Hotels product and service offerings, and the products, services, rates and new developments of key competitors, and an awareness of general industry trends.
• Approach personal event sales activities from a strategic perspective, understanding the relative importance and priority of the current account base, and directing personal sales efforts accordingly.
• Continually review the actual production of each account against the potential for that account, and review suggestions for improvement with department leadership.
• Focus on assertively establishing new client contacts and developing detailed information on the potential revenues from these accounts.
• Source and convert Group & MICE related business for both domestic and international markets for the clustered hotels of Anantara Mai Khao, Avani+ Mai Khao, Anantara Layan and Anantara Layan Residences.
• Achieve personal financial and non-financial performance objectives, working with department leadership to ensure these objectives are met.

This position works closely with Hotel Sales Team in contract negotiations and servicing groups as it relates to catering and convention services. Primary sales efforts are in Banquet Food, Beverage and Meeting Room Rental and may include menu planning, agenda setting, hotel meeting services, hospitality amenities, and special VIP requests.

Main Duties:

Managing a team of media and digital marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful of marketing initiatives.

• Collaborating with brand teams to provide guidance in order to develop integrated marketing campaigns that effectively reach target audiences and drive desired outcomes.
• Overseeing the organization’s media planning and buying activities, including negotiating contracts, optimizing media budgets, and evaluating the performance of media campaigns.
• Analyzing market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Monitoring and optimizing digital marketing campaigns to ensure media agencies are delivering desired results and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).

 Events Manager, you will be responsible for creating immediate awareness of the product in local markets. To assist in promotion and sell the F&B outlets as well as the Banqueting facilities on the local market.

· Ensure that you fully understand the business strategy especially wedding trend and positioning of the brand, and that you are able to effectively articulate this positioning in the marketplace.

• Responsible for managing SEEN Beach Club social media accounts.

• Collaborate with the graphic designer and external video agency as needed.
• Stay updated on developments in social media, including legal changes, new platforms, and introduced features.

Serve the needs of the business by optimising our online presence and understanding our competitors’ overall online performance while being the main point of contact between the Corporate Office and properties within its regions. This includes leading and executing social media content strategy, training & workshops, as well as competitors’ analysis and strategy planning for different online channels. This role will manage Minor Hotels, Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spa, and Avani Hotels and Resorts social media platforms. He/she will also liaise with internal teams for content planning and development to drive brand awareness, content engagement, and conversion.

• Provide regional trainings and delivering workshops that keep up with the ever-changing trends.
• Support all properties to optimize and manage social profiles within brand standards and the group strategy.
• Audit and analyze the competitors' social media presence and compare our efforts to theirs to create a Social Media Optimisation strategy aligned to the overall Commercial Department 3-year plan.

Innovation and Engagement:

• Implement new social media channels/approaches that will deliver results and will position Minor Hotels as the brand to benchmark against.
• Create, develop, and implement social media campaigns/competitions that increase audience interaction while positioning the brands and the group at the foremost of the hospitality industry.
• Submission of campaigns, strategies and results to different third-party awards (i.e. HOTELS Mag, Shorty Awards, etc.) that will reflect the group’s initiatives and their impacts within the department.

Ecommerce and Digital:

• Support the Commercial teams to have integrated campaigns across different online channels.
• Drive the rebranding/opening of new properties to increase awareness and position of the brand, especially in new markets.
• Be a communication link between Minor Hotels headquarters and regional offices/properties to share an understanding of Minor’s established brands and standards within new markets.
