Moreover, record (information traceability) and analyze the audit results, defining or proposing actions to eliminate non- conformities.
Contribute to effective planning and monitoring of shutdown and decommissioning (equipment and offshore unit) plans by defining the shutdown scope (equipment list, NDT exam, tests, measurements, replacements, repairs, or modifications to be carried out) related to controlled equipment, through legal compliance and integrity evaluation.
Organize the activities related to NR 13 / SPIE together with the Equipment Inspectors from the Offshore Units, by including files and documentation, such as official books, calibration certificates, internal and external inspections, inspection reports, hydro-test and carrying out audit in the manufacturers.
Ensure that the information is addressed clearly and objectively so that everyone involved has a full understanding of this information. As well as establishing the integration between the departments involved in order to consolidate the quality of the information flow from the identification to the closing of the deviation and/or improvement.
Contribute to the definition if an equipment has or not condition to operate satisfactorily in order to ensure Operations reliability by participating in decisions or developing technical studies and informing to the involved ones the results of inspection reports, repairs or replacements recommended to restore the physical conditions in satisfactory levels.
Contribute to the hiring of 3rd parties to perform inspections on SPIE/NR13 Equipment and draw inspection isometrics by properly defining Scope of Work and participating in Kick-Off Meetings with potential suppliers.
Ensure the compliance with NR13 / MdB specifications in the fabrication of equipment by attending Hydrostatic Test at Manufacturer Workshop.
Ensure that all equipment is in condition to operate, complying with internal standards, NR13/SPIE specifications, by generating "punch items" lists as outputs of the initial inspections and following up the development of action plans on these lists.
Ensure the proper register of all Pressure Vessels, PSV, Boilers and all others static equipment by developing datasheets and inspections reports and filling in the integrity management software (SGI) with reliable and updated data on this equipment.
Ensure that Integrity Inspectors' and PSV Mechanical Technicians' work is performed in compliance with contract specifications and legislation, as well as complying with NR13/SPIE standards and procedures, by planning and following up the distribution of activities of inspection plans and providing technical recommendations when necessary.
Contribute to fleet performance improvement by constantly cooperating with other Tiers and Modec entities, to absorb and apply all lessons learnt from other Unit Phases (Commissioning, Operation, Maintenance, Decommissioning) for the new vessels in construction, as well as provide new lessons learnt and improvement opportunities discovered during the Pre-Ops project.
Sporadic follow ups in the shipyard during the Construction Phase and visits to vendors' factories might be required for these activities.

Senior Commissioning Engineer
MODEC is looking for an engineer with a strong background of Commissioning to execute scope of EPCI project engineer commissioning function under CIC department in MODEC business areas including hull/topsides/mooring facilities.
Duties
