At RHA, we provide high-quality services, excellent staff training, and opportunities for advancement within the organization. A typical day as a caregiver could include accompanying people to work, the movies, concerts, and shopping, teaching independent living skills, providing transportation to appointments, fostering positive relationships , preparing meals, assisting with personal care and bathing, helping around the home (laundry, cleaning, and decorating) and documenting the care you provide. The Direct Support role is an entry-level position that does not require any previous experience. All of the training and development needed to be successful and prepared for the position will be provided.

We are currently seeking Qualified Behavioral Health Professionals for FULL TIME Mobile Crisis Management (MCM) positions serving Buncombe, Madison, and Yancey counties. Applicants must meet criteria for "QP" status, LIVE IN THE VICINITY OF ONE OF THESE THREE COUNTIES and have a minimum of one year crisis experience (ACTT, IIHS, Inpatient treatment facility, or other service providing 24/7 crisis response duties). As part of the MCM team, you would provide crisis response services in a variety of settings (community, doctor's offices, schools, provider offices etc.) with the goal of helping individuals in crisis to avoid inpatient hospitalization. We serve individuals of all ages and disabilities, although most commonly we work with adults that are in a mental health or substance use crisis.Candidate must reside in Buncombe, Madison, or Yancey county or close vicinity to these counties.
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Bonus: $1000 Sign On Bonus
Schedule: Hours of position are 12 hour on call shifts, 7a-7p, 4 days on and 2 days off rotating. Weekend and holiday hours are expected.

The dispatcher is the entry point for all crisis callers, initially assisting with deescalating situations and secondarily triaging the calls in order to dispatch responders into the community.
