Job Description

To support the Investment Team across the various asset classes, including public equity, private equity, hedge fund, fixed income, credit, real estate, infrastructure, natural resources.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in researching and sourcing for investment ideas
• Assist in the execution of due diligence process
• Assist in the portfolio monitoring and management of existing investments
• Assist in preparation of reports, presentation or updates to the Investment Committee, NUS management or other stakeholders
• Assist with any other ad-hoc duties/projects required by the Investment Office

Qualifications

• Associate level - 4 to 6 years of work experience, preferably relevant experience in finance/investment
• Investment Manager level - 6 to 8 years of work experience, preferably relevant experience in finance/investment
• Bachelor degree or higher in business, finance, accounting, economics, computer science, humanities, data science, law, communication
• Passion and interest in investing
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Inquisitive
• High attention to details
• High ethical and professional standards
• Team player - can work effectively as part of a team
• Proficient in Bloomberg, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• CFA Charterholder preferred

Job Scope

· Fully follow up the product lines and ensure the instruction of Chairman on products are executed and implemented.

· Communicate with product and R&D teams of each product line, follow up project, grasp the details of project progress and feedback to Chairman.

· Participate in product scheduling, coordinate multiple resources, design, R&D, operation, and testing teams, promote the development process of each product before launch. After launch, facilitate team updates and iterate product features based on operational feedback.

· Organized and coordinated product-related meeting which involving Chairman, responsible for summarizing meeting minutes, followed up, established an effective communication between Chairman and Project team, play a bridge role in product positioning and execution.

· Stay attentive to market, analyse competitive products in relevant market, compare company product design, provide opinions and suggestions for Chairman's product decisions.

· According to the requirements of Chairman, organize related product, R&D, design resources, and independently complete specific projects.

Requirements

1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher.

2. Work Experience: Over 10 years of work experience with 5 years of team management experience.

3. Industry Experience: Relevant work experience in well-known/large internet companies, with practical experience in designing and managing internet products, ideally with at least one successful experience in internet product design and management.

4. Professional Qualifications:

· Strategic thinking and management in internet product field, with a strong forward-looking perspective on product field future development and market judgment.

· Ability to think user-centrically and data-driven, challenging authority and traditional experiences, with a habit of rapid and thorough verification.

· Strong team management, project management, and team training abilities.

· Excellent language, communication, organization, and coordination skills.

· Management training experience and advanced certificates in product development is an advantage.

5. Regional Experience: International perspective and experience, with deep insights into and experience in China, Southeast Asia, and other international markets, particularly preferred in terms of product and project implementation.

6. Language Requirements:

· Proficient in professional business writing and language communication.

· Fluent in Mandarin to communicate with Chinese associate.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert consultation to clients on server infrastructure design, implementation, and management, with a focus on Wintel (Windows Server) environments.
• Design, deploy, and maintain Active Directory (AD) environments, including domain controllers, user and group management, GPO configuration, and AD replication.
• Manage and administer VMware virtualization infrastructure, including vSphere, ESXi hosts, virtual machines, and vCenter Server.
• Implement and manage Microsoft Azure services, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity services.
• Deploy and manage Microsoft 365 (M365) services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other collaboration tools.
• Implement security best practices across server environments, Azure, and M365 services, including but not limited to:
• Hardening server configurations to mitigate security risks.
• Implementing access controls, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.
• Monitoring for security threats and vulnerabilities, and responding appropriately to mitigate risks.
• Conducting regular security assessments and audits.
• Handle managed services for clients, including proactive monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolution of server-related issues.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and recommend server solutions that align with their goals and objectives.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to client IT teams as needed.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution design, proposal preparation, and client presentations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in server administration, with a focus on Wintel (Windows Server), Active Directory, GPO, VMware, Azure, and M365 services.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in server environments, Azure and M365 services
• Experience in managing managed services for clients, including incident management, problem resolution, and service level management.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
• Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or equivalent certifications are preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Role Requirements (Skills, Experience and Qualifications):

• A minimum of 10+ years proven experience in the delivery of consulting or change projects, gained within a leading financial institution or consulting firm
• Experience working with wealth and private banking clients in APAC and engaged in major transformation projects with exposure to Target Operating Model Design and Implementation in some of the following areas: CLM, Order and Execution Management, Portfolio management, Credit, Middle & Back Office processes
• Experience working on Migration and Implementation of Wealth Management Solutions (Avaloq, Triple A, Temenos, Aladdin, EdgeLab/Evooq)
• Previous experience as Product Owner for Core Banking System Domain for a renowned Wealth Management institutions is a plus
• Demonstrable proficiency in relationship development and client account management
• A network of executive contacts across the industry and proven track record in Business Development
• Senior stakeholder management and influencing skills, demonstrated with clients and colleagues
• Ability to show initiative when dealing with clients, form strong relationships with new clients, and maintain existing relationships
