Job Description:
This job is responsible for performing end-to-end investigations or investigations support functions of external financial crimes activities across one or more lines of business. Key responsibilities include conducting routine to complex investigations, including fraud committed by external parties, money laundering, or terrorist financing and acting as the liaison to Law Enforcement as required. The Senior Global Financial Crimes (“GFC”) Investigator, under broad supervision, partners with investigators to ensure investigative procedures are followed and quality standards are maintained. The Senior GFC Investigator is a subject matter expert (“SME”) in the financial crimes area and is responsible for approving recommendations by the GFC Investigator to file or not to file a Suspicious Activity Report (“SAR”) as a result of a completed investigation. The Senior GFC Investigator will be relied upon to direct their attention to completing investigations reviews, managing risk, while ensuring cases meet or exceed closure and quality metrics, reporting facts of the investigation to assist in identifying potential operational or compliance risks, and completing Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) in a timely and accurate manner for submission to regulators and/or law enforcement. This role may partner with GFCC Risk Management, front line units or other stakeholders to resolve investigations.

Business Overview
Executive Advisory Services (EAS) is a team of advisors providing integrated goals-based wealth planning services to select senior executive leaders at Bank of America. EAS partners with executives to identify, prioritize and meet wealth structuring, cash flow, philanthropic, retirement, and education funding goals. EAS coordinates with internal business partners to assist the executives navigate bank resources, benefits and compensation plans as well as navigating and complying with internal and external regulatory requirements. EAS also offers executives income and gift tax preparation and planning services.
EAS is a specialized function residing in Global Human Resources within the Compensation & Benefits team.
Position Overview:
Leveraging industry leading tools, resources, and services, the Executive Financial Advisor works with a defined group of senior executive leaders to deliver comprehensive and integrated goals-based wealth impact planning designed to help EAS clients protect, preserve, and control their wealth.
Addresses estate planning essentials, the role of trusts, lifetime gifting, legacy planning, philanthropic planning, education funding, retirement funding, and income tax planning.
Assists senior executive leaders understand company compensation plans, benefits, and regulatory requirements associated with the client’s role in the company.
Involves light travel and leverages virtual client engagements.
Required Qualifications
5 – 7 years of wealth planning related work experience (wealth transfer, financial planning, trust planning and/or experience working with high net worth and ultra-high-net worth clients.)
Knowledge of multiple aspects of goals-based wealth impact planning and implementation including federal and state estate and gift taxes, sophisticated retirement planning, education funding, charitable giving, cash flow modeling, property law, planning for incapacity, and income taxes.
Exceptional professional maturity and ability to work in a highly confidential environment.
Experience working directly with/consulting a senior level executive / client.
Ability to translate and communicate complex concepts and strategies to clients.
Proactive and creative approach to problem solving and skill in achieving client goals while adhering to Bank policy/risk profile.
