Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any engineer/networks related job titles. Skills must include: (1) LTE-NR interworking & co-existence, and 5G Numerologies; (2) 5G and 4G air interface and EN-DC network architecture and call processing technologies with a specifically focused on Radio Access Network; (3) 3GPP systems and standards: RAN and Core networks; (4) simulation environments including MATLAB; (5) Programming languages Java or C; (6) object-oriented programming including design concepts; and (7) KPI analysis tools.

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (A&P Mechanic) working in our Line Maintenance Hangar, you will play an important operational role. What you will do

This exciting role includes performing traditional System Engineering and Vulnerability research with a focus on OCO (Offensive Cyber Operations) and DCO (Defensive Cyber Operations) activities. Support assessments of large scale weapons systems and other national security operations!
Work will be performed in Annapolis Junction and Linthicum, MD area.
Role
Provides technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting system requirements reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessment and management as well as end-to end flow analysis
Implements comprehensive SOA solutions
Implements operational view, technical standards view, and systems and services view for architectures using applicable DOD (DoDAF) standards
Qualifications
The System Engineer shall have a minimum of twelve [12] years of experience (Bachelors degree will account for 4 years and Masters will count for an additional 2 years [Relevant Degrees: Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Information Systems).
An ACTIVE TS/SCI with Polygraph required

Familiarity with NIST SP 800-160 systems security engineering considerations for systems engineering
Familiarity with INCOSE defined lifecycle systems engineering processes Proven ability to work independently to learn new technologies, techniques, processes, languages, platforms, systems
Experience defining a system of systems architecture
Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to foster relationship development
Experience with independent verification & validation of security requirements and capabilities
Familiarity with weapons system development, sustainment, and security operations
Knowledge of reliability and/or safety engineering methods
Experience incorporating systems resiliency and security engineering concepts into acquisition documents (e.g., Performance Work Statements)
Experience in technical evaluations of contractor proposals for systems resiliency, security, and cyber security considerations
Familiarity with embedded systems and RF concept
Familiarity with space-based systems and/or space support ground systems
Familiarity with DoD tactical networking
Experience with Systems Theoretic Process Analysis (STPA) or similar process
Knowledge of hardware, software, supply chain, systems vulnerabilities, anti-tamper and exploitation approaches
Experience in vulnerability discovery, and analysis tools, fuzzing tools, and dynamic system analysis
Relevant Certification: DAWIA Level 3 SPRD&E - any specialty

As part of the Parsons team, you will work with radar subject matter experts and government stakeholders to understand the needs of future warfighters and guide development of current and experimental systems to better support these requirements. This will involve building complex simulations, leading live test events, and conducting original research into advanced signal processing techniques as well as new tactical uses for existing Army assets. Your work will directly influence the development of cutting-edge military technology and will help to improve the effectiveness of the United States Army warfighter.
What You'll Be Doing:
Build / edit MATLAB and C++ simulations to test new concepts and processing techniques (from small proof of concept scripts to large multi-file object-oriented programs)
Use simulations and small-scale tests to model and assess performance of existing systems, to inform viability of proposed or experimental capabilities, and to design large-scale test event configurations
Work with radar subject matter experts and Army representatives to identify promising paths for future investigation / development
Derive novel solutions to complex technical problems related to signal processing, hardware design or tactical battlefield arrangements
Review deliverables from external contractors to evaluate project progress and make recommendations for future direction
Present results and analysis to external contractors and government stakeholders
Qualifications:
B.S. in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics or a related field
2+ years experience with radar signal/data processing
2+ years of experience with MATLAB
experience with radar simulation and test design
experience with phased array radar systems
Understanding of object-oriented programming
Understanding of basic radar hardware (antennas, ADC/DAC, mixers, amplifiers etc.)
