As a real estate investment analyst (Japan Market), the Candidate will be supporting investment managers by conducting primary and secondary research, analysing market trend and data, reviewing due diligence materials and transaction documents in Japanese, and assisting with property management initiatives.

General Outline of Job Scope

· Conduct both primary and secondary research (mainly in Japanese) and fact-check data to evaluate various investment opportunities with a focus on physical real estate, real estate debt and listed real estate companies in Japan.

· Analyse financial statements, crunch relevant data, perform industry research, and build cashflow models to assess investment potential and risks.

· Write investment memos or reports, presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior investment professionals.

· Work with compliance team on management accounts, audit, and tax filing.

· Assist the investment team with ad-hoc projects and other tasks as required.

· Liaise with external parties in Japan including lawyers, accountants, designers, constructors, and real estate investment partners.

Who are we looking for:

· Bachelor’s degree.

· Working proficiency in accounting, being able to understand basic financial accounts.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify and communicate complicated information.

· Ability to take initiative and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.

· Good organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.

· Good attention to detail.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

· Japanese language is required (JLPT N1).

· Relevant experience in Japan real estate market is preferred.

Job Description : 

This is a full-time role that will be located at Allegheny Valley Hospital. The schedule will consist of daylight shift (M-F 7:30am-4:00pm) with one weekend per month and on-call responsibilities for holidays.

This role will also float between echo labs within our facility. New Kensington, Natrona Heights and Vandergrift.

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Performs echocardiographic procedures which include M-Mode, 2D real time, color flow, pulsed and continuous wave Doppler and stress echocardiograms. Assists with transesophageal procedures. Be able to assist during pericardiocentesis and obtain images with the use of contrast. Perform cardiac exercise testing and assist with nuclear cardiology. Must understand and provide preliminary (analysis) of echocardiograph results. Must be able to perform calculations and measurements as required. Assures functioning of the department is within ICAEL standards.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Positions patients, selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately to independently perform ultrasound imaging according to ICAEL protocol efficiently and accurately. Assists the cardiologist with the performance of TEE and stress imaging studies. (65%)
• Utilizes safety and infection prevention standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures. Cleans equipment including TEE probes per laboratory approved protocol. Maintains adequate supplies for efficient department operations. (15%)
• Recognizes the need for contrast imaging and may administer if trained and verified as competent per laboratory protocol. (5%)
• Operates the laboratory ultrasound systems, information systems and databases and enters all required demographic and other data. (15%)
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), or ARRT or CCI Registered Technologist, or ARDMS certified or eligible. Must obtain certification within one year of employment.
• CPR certified.

Preferred

• 1 to 3 years’ experience performing echocardiograms.
• RDCS certification through American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• May require PA driver's license.
