The BI Developer must work within various projects
to extract data from different sources, storage it on a central Data warehouse and create reports and dashboards on visual analytics
platform as well as support power users to do it. The candidate must possess strong teamwork qualities and compelling experience in
SQL Server database, Azure Synapse and Tableau.

• Develop data pipelines from different data sources to extract, transform and load data into our Data Warehouse
• Assure a healthy Data warehouse containing high quality data, respecting development standards and best practices
• Optimize performance at all levels of BI scope, tuning queries, data pipelines and Dashboards, using the available tools
• Monitor and support high availability Data pipelines and ensure their daily successful completion
• Work along the DBA to Troubleshoot performance issues impacting production BI databases
• Participate in design and development of data warehouse using a Dimensional Design
• Create functions and stored procedures to provide custom functionality as per the requirements
• Capitalize on existing project deliverables to ensure continuity/reusability ;
• Interact with Business users to assess requests, set priorities and manages expectations
• Develop and execute unit tests in accordance with quality rules defined by the technical team

● Pre-existing database business development and outreach. Using our existing database of food brands, you will be using email/phone/linkedin and IG to reach out to these contacts and book calls for the senior BD team.
● Data entry and data cleanse, we have an existing database of 2k food brands on our CRM, you wll be responsible for updating an maintaining this information so all required information is complete and accurate
● Internet research and data input, using search engines and the web, you will be responsible for research food brands, food businesses and food networks that wil then be added to our sales pipeline and onboarded to the platform
● Instagram/social media business development - as the social media that our customer base use, Instagram will be key to your role. The site allows us to contact the food businesses directly and take key information from them (email, name, URL, IG handle, bio), this info will then be added to our CRM
● Call booking for senior BD/Sales, as part of this role, you will be booking calls to key food brands you onboard which the senior BD and sales team will be taking on from that point, you will be incentivised with commission per month for the amount of calls booked and records added to the database
 

Reporting
