The Project Manager oversees the planning and all project operations. He/She manages the progress of the project and ensures quality and timely delivery. The Project Manager will be required to travel to project sites. Good communication skills are needed to liaise with the various stakeholders.

- Coordinate with relevant parties to manage progress of the project to make sure that the schedule is kept.

- Lead team to manage project operations, schedule and specifications.

- Manage operational cost to keep cost within the budget.

- Manage site document filing and record keeping in accordance with International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards.

- Manage subcontractors’ activities to ensure compliance of contract requirements.

- Monitor compliance of work with the workplace safety and health regulations.-~ Monitor quality of project delivery to make sure they meet project requirements and regulations.

- Oversee the project team and subcontractors in delivery of project to meet completion date.

- Provides leadership to the project management and construction team.

- Submit weekly and monthly cash flow and project reports

Qualification

- Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines

Requirements

- Min 5 to 10 years of experience in similar capacity with extensive knowledge in steel, glass,aluminium and building envelopes.

- Must have the competency to manage and lead project team

- Able to support tendering activities

- Able to communicate effectively with good interpersonal skills.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Responsible for establishing relationships with Corporate Accounts in the APAC region (hereinafter referred to as "Accounts") and understanding Accounts’ business situations and supply chain challenges.
• Focused industries for Accounts: Automotive (including motorcycle and construction machinery), High-tech (including semi-conductor, electric components, and Home Appliance), Foods and Healthcare.
• Responsible for solution proposals based on understandings of Accounts' supply chain challenges (including suggestions for business development both internally and externally).
• Responsible for acquisition of proposed opportunities for Accounts and support in implementing acquired projects with each Yamato Group Subsidiaries.
• Responsible for handling and summarizing responses to RFQs and bids for Accounts, as well as negotiations with them.
• Responsible for ensuring the Profit/Loss for each Accounts in charge.
• Responsible for facilitating and expediting the above A to D through efficient collaboration with Yamato Group (including Japan and each subsidiary).
• Report business progress to Regional Sales General Manager on a regular basis. (Daily, Weekly, and Monthly).

Job Specifications/Requirements:

• Regional sales experiences and knowledge in the Automotive Industry, Semi-Conductor Industry or E-Commerce.
• Understand the management issues of the target corporate customers
• Make proposals that improves the corporate value and customer value of the customer as a result of the grasped management issues together with the preparation of materials.
• Motivated to fully understand the functions and resources of our company and the Yamato Group.
• Areas of Sales focus & business development is APAC region.
• Excellent negotiator & Sales pitch presentation skills.
• Resourceful & passionate in driving Sales & Business Development.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Candidate with at least N1 JLPT proficiency will be preferred as this position requires to liaise with Japanese clients directly.
• Frequent Travel might be required.

Working Arrangements:

Work Hours: 8:30am to 6pm (Mondays to Fridays).

• Developing and implementing HR Strategies and initiatives that aligned with the overall business strategy
• Handle the full function of HR which includes Recruitment, Compensation and Benefits, Performance Management, and Employee Relation
• Payroll management and processing
• Lead and coordinate key HR processes such as annual performance evaluation and salary review
• Preparing Job Description, sourcing of job posting portals, and coordinating, and participating in the interviews and reference checks.
• Implement employee-relations engagement activities necessary to promote a high level of employee morale and motivation
• Handling employee relations, grievances and counselling
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
• Create and update policies and procedures
• Provide advisory and support on Operational matters
• Perform analysis such as learning needs analysis and identify metrics/KPIs to track programme impact, learning utilization and other talent and learning development outcomes
• Develop methodologies and training evaluations to ensure effective learning outcomes.
• Ensuring a systematic and structured training policy and programs are put in place to upgrade the level of service standards.

Key Attributes:

• Degree in Human Resource Management
• Minimum 5 years of related experience with at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in a management role in security industry
• Proven track record as an effective Human Resource professional and the ability to lead and motivate
• Familiar with Singapore Labour Laws and Regulations
• Business acumen and strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, organisational and analytical skills
• Tactful with pleasant and outgoing personality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
