We're seeking for a motivated and ambitious Senior Manager, Sales Planning & Intelligence to join our growing team.
The Senior Manager, Sales Planning & Intelligence will be responsible for the overall global sales industry information and insights generation that drives effective decision making, risk management and profit optimization. It includes the tools, techniques and best practices that facilitate data collection, tracking, and analysis to enable an informed decision making leading to formulation of market penetration plans, opportunity identification and strategic initiatives to support the overall company growth agenda.
Part B: Responsibilities and Duties
Work with relevant end-market leads to obtain industry landscape information, competitor’s trade marketing structure, and country specific regulatory information to plan, conceptualize and execute the individual countries’ market assessment and penetration strategy.
Works in collaboration with end-market directors and other business teams to support the fulfilment of regulatory local requirements for importation and sales of the company’s product.
Advises the business by providing data-based insights helping to identify and address business issues and opportunities.
Leads the annual planning process for the commercial and sales management departments
Development of workflow, SOP, policies and processes where required to ensure controls and integrity of information is maintained across the organization.
Responsible on providing business performance and sales reports to senior leadership forum to enable timely and effective decision making.
Facilitates initiatives to design and build information dashboards, data generators, and other end-user information portals or resources.
Leveraging and sharing of best practices across local markets
Involvement in special project work where required relating to capturing the true business opportunities and accelerating growth.
Other ad-hoc assignments by reporting superior.
Part C: Qualifications & Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills, Knowledge, Etc)
A bachelor’s degree or post-graduate diploma in Marketing, Business, or equivalent. Polytechnic Diplomas or lower may be considered with corresponding working experience.
Minimum of 5 years working experience in a managerial role within the FMCG industry in a sales planning, information and insights management capacity.
Proven experience in Sales Planning, Sales Information, Sales Intelligence, Insights generation, reporting tools best practices.
Prior experience in project management will be an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office
