MINDS has been caring for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PWIDs) and their families since 1962.
Grounded in the belief that all PWIDs have innate abilities and talents, MINDS is committed to empowering them and enhancing their quality of life, while advocating for greater inclusivity for PWIDs as a nation.
MINDS is today one of the largest charities in Singapore employing more than 850 staff. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and supervise strategic capability development, strategic and operational planning, digital transformation initiatives, corporate governance, resource management, and organisation development.
- Develops structures, policies and processes to ensure delivery of outputs, and works in partnership with internal stakeholders for the measurement and delivery of Organisational Outcomes.
- Directs the implementation of corporate policies in accordance with governance regulations and drives improvements to the service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Develope resource allocation and human resource management systems as well as fostering collaborations with external agencies especially Ministries, Statutory Boards, Government Agencies and other Social Service Agencies (SSAs)
- Build network of collaborations across agencies to provide cross-agency and division offerings and services.
- Co-strategise services and CAPDEV with 3Ps sectors, including media, considering the different agendas, directions and operating models, to engender win-win partnerships.
- Present the agency's views on social services and other sector-related issues to influence the national agenda, taking into account current social issues
- Set the direction for governance framework to ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations for the organisation.
- Supports DCE in the administration of the ERM framework to ensure compliance with policies
- Direct capability development, digital transformation, strategic comms and engagement, and other services delivery initiatives.
- Drive professional development for the department.
- Drive the branding and brand awareness of agency
- Plan strategic focus, goals and priorities for the agency, in consultation with the board and management team.
- Develop agency’s integrated workplan and long-term planning process and cycle
- Develop framework and track service standards, performance indicators for agency.
- Organise and resource agency to fulfil the present and future needs of the agency.
- Develop framework, policies and guidelines for volunteer and members programmes to be used by the agency.
- Approve funding proposals for delivery of service
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Risk Management or related fields.
OTHER INFORMATION
- A highly experienced management staff who possesses excellent management, leadership and communications skills and possess a high level of self and environmental awareness to ensure works in collaboration with other agencies and ministries in the course of his/her work
- 8 to 10 years experience in corporate, strategic and scenario planning
- Experience is managing and staffing Boards▪ Some experience in Enterprise Risk Management
