The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data to inform company decisions, as well as identifying trends and opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics and financial services, with the ability to communicate insights to various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large sets of financial and user data
• Generate reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to management
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth within the company's data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and guide effective decision making
• Develop and maintain data models and databases
• Maintain and update data visualizations and dashboards
• Continuously identify areas for improvement and efficiency in data analysis processes

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in financial services or trading
• Proficiency in coding languages such as SQL/Excel, Python, R etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Familiar with A/B test design and analysis
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at once while meeting deadlines.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Responsible for supporting & analyzing customer data from various databases across ASEAN
• Expected to write SQL / Python code to extract data from various databases, cleanse, validate, consolidate, and visualize data

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with Marketing, Operation, and Technology to source the necessary data and understand the data
• Manage master data, including creation, updates, import, and export
• Review and validate a wide range of SQL-based data across different databases and systems
• Define data performance, lifecycle and quality metrics and ensuring compliance with data related policies and standards
• Ensure data quality issues are logged, tracked, and remedied in a timely and effective manner
• Engage and execute the dashboards on Tableau / PowerBI, or similar visualization tools
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and present results in a clear manner

Job Purpose

• Responsible for data collection, conduct data analysis and identify underperforming areas in operations to improve the organisation's supply chain operations.

Job Accountabilities

• Provide recommendations to improve the overall operations and efficiencies of the applications, especially in ERP to support current and meet new business requirements.

• Identify and troubleshoot problems, enquiries, provide advice and follow-through in meeting user needs and expectations within a stipulated time to ensure the smooth operation of the JDE / MTech application, BI Cognos, and other application systems.

• Consults with functional unit management and personnel to identify, define, document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input, and output requirements.

• Acts as a liaison between departmental end-users and technical team in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of systems to ensure optimal operational performance.

• Analyse the feasibility of current process or systems, develop requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users.

• Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes.

• Participate in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.

• Participate in studies of new and existing programs and special projects to determine feasibility, resolve problems including SOP, technical and analysis. Help users to develop policy and procedures to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and/or improve internal and external customer service.
