Job Description:

• To handle matters such as Sub-Sale, Developer’s Project, Loan Documentation and conveyancing related matters with minimal supervision
• Assist in all other related conveyancing matters such as discharge of charge / receipt and reassignment, tenancy agreements / online adjudication / CKHT submissions
• Able to attend and communicate with clients, bankers and related parties
• Able to work and complete task with minimal supervision or willing to learn & able to complete jobs within timeline
• Able to follow instruction, responsible, proactive & work independently 

 

Job Requirements:

• Responsible with good working attitude, punctual and good attendance
• Ability to work as a team & having willingness to learn
• With or without working experience (Fresh grads are encouraged to apply)
• Basic skill and knowledge in Microsoft Words and Excel
• Experienced in conveyancing would be an added advantage
• Immediate availability is preferable

Legal Accounts Assistant
Full Time, Permanent

We are currently recruiting for our client who is a well-established law firm to join their ever-growing team due to continued business growth. They are seeking a full time Legal Accounts Assistant to join their finance team based at their brand new office in Liverpool City Centre.

The Accounts Assistant will be exposed to the whole range of accounting functions. This includes review and validation of relevant data and data sources, preparation of financial reports, information analysis, and provision of feedback.

Responsibilities to include:

- Posting purchase invoice
- S Bank reconciliations
- Processing client payments and receipts
- Dealing with cheque requests and product
- Proceeding payments via electronic banking
- Posting transactions to files
- Supporting the annual external statutory audit
- Providing support on general revenue and payables queries

Skills + Experience:

- Accounting: 2 years (preferred)
- Proclaim accounts experience (essential)
- Microsoft Excel experience (essential)
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, process improvement, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts required

• Perform customer due diligence checks (Know Your Client) and onboarding for all new clients and continuous due diligence review for existing clients
• Preparation of documents relating to the setting up of companies, Singapore branches
• Drafting of directors’ resolutions, such as change of directors and/or secretary, opening and closing of bank accounts, acceptance of banking facilities
• Preparation and filing of transactions in relation to client matters with ACRA including XBRL filing & IRAS (E-stamping)
• Keeping track and ensuring that confidential documents in both hard and soft copy are filled properly
• Cost calculation
• Monthly accounting duties including generation of vouchers and G / L
• Generation of Balance Sheet and P&L statement
• Identification and application of governmental grants
• Payroll processing, CPF and tax filing and generation of IR8A form
• Regular reimbursements review and petty cash management
• Preparation of payments
• Other ad-hoc duties when required
