We are looking for a motivated, dynamic Customer Development Executive - Outdoor Account Management to join our team based out of our offices in various locations. Your responsibilities will be to look to build on solid existing client relationships whilst also using your outstanding sales skills and outgoing personality to win new sales and clients in your sales territory.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• To promote the Company and its products and services to its best advantage under the guidance of Sales Manager, Branch Manager, Area Sales Manager or other Senior Managers.

• Maintain extensive knowledge of market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s selling propositions and differentiators.

6 South is a 22-bed acuity adaptable unit at Butterworth Hospital that is capable of managing both non ICU and ICU status patients admitted with advanced cardiopulmonary care needs.  6 South specializes in patients with advanced heart failure, pre or post heart or lung transplant, Left Ventricular Assist devices, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, and respiratory failure necessitating Bipap, Hi-Flo Nasal Cannula.

Scope of work

Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider.  Performs basic skills per department guidelines and communicates observations to members of the health care team. Collects and reports physiological, psychological, sociocultural and spiritual needs of patients and families in coordination with and as delineated by the RN or Provider. Responsibilities include taking vitals, checking blood sugars, bed bathing, ambulating, wound care, catheterization and acting as a safety attendant for patients. Ensures that required documentation is performed in an accurate and timely manner.

Orientation

Orientation for the first week of employment as Nurse Tech requires classes:

• Monday:
  • Day 1 - NT Foundations 1 – 8am - 4:30pm ALL New Hire NTs are required.
• Tuesday: 
  • NT Foundations 2: 8am - 4:30pm
• Wednesday/Friday: 
  • NT Sterile technique class 8am - 4:30pm - all except exempt nursing students who have completed at least one clinical rotation
• 3rd week after start date - Monday- 8am - 4:30pm Advanced Safety Care-all new hire NTs are required.
• New Hires entering into Adult Critical Care departments will also need ACC class which is held within the same month as the start date.

About the unit   

Butterworth Hospital’s second floor is home to the Surgical Services department which houses the Outpatient Center (OPC), Surgical Intake, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and the Hansen-Balk Surgical Family Waiting Lounge (SFWL). We strive to create a calm and healing environment for our patients and their loved ones. Team members who are working in OPC will complete the preoperative admission process, ensuring the patient has met all safety requirements for surgery and is ready for the rest of the surgical team to greet them. Upon completion of surgery, the PACU will provide phase 1 recovery for these patients. The acuity of these patients can range from same day discharge to ICU level. Our unit is a fast-paced area where your critical thinking skills are sure to grow. Our team is comprised of registered nurses, nursing technicians, unit secretaries, and waiting room coordinators who are trained to seamlessly help transition our patients and their loved ones safely through our surgical spaces.

About the unit

2 South is a 41-bed Orthopedic/Progressive unit at Butterworth Hospital. 2 South cares for medical patients as well as some surgical patients. As a team member on 2 South, you will see a wide variety of patients. Some of those diagnoses include Orthopedic Trauma, Ortho Oncology, Hip & Spine Fractures, Spine Surgery, where the other population is Progressive Care and Med/Surg overflow. These diagnoses can be anything from COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), Pneumonia, Sepsis, Congestive Heart Failure, Respiratory Failure, Cardiac Drips, Bi pap as well as Post Op heart ablation and pacemaker replacement patients. Teamwork is what keeps 2 South thriving. They rely on each other to get through shifts and keep their staff united. 6 South is a 22-bed acuity adaptable unit at Butterworth Hospital that is capable of managing both non ICU and ICU status patients admitted with advanced cardiopulmonary care needs.  6 South specializes in patients with advanced heart failure, pre or post heart or lung transplant, Left Ventricular Assist devices, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, and respiratory failure necessitating Bipap, Hi-Flo Nasal Cannula.

Scope of work

Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider.  Performs basic skills per department guidelines and communicates observations to members of the health care team. Orientation

Orientation for the first week of employment as Nurse Tech requires classes:

• Monday:
  • Day 1 - NT Foundations 1 – 0800-1630 ALL New Hire NTs are required.
• Tuesday: 
  • NT Foundations 2 0800-1200: ALL NEW HIRE NTS are required. 
  • NT Basic Skills 1300-1630: All new hire NTs unless exempt due to experience. (Exempt- prior recent hospital NT experience, nursing students who have completed at least one clinical rotation)
• Wednesday/Friday: 
  • NT Sterile technique class 08:00-16:30- all except exempt students (Exempt - nursing students who have completed at least one clinical rotation)
• 3rd week after start date - Monday- 08:00-16:30 Advanced Safety Care-all new hire NTs are required.
• New Hires entering into Adult Critical Care departments will also need ACC class which is held within the same month as the start date (March 26th, April 24th, etc)

6 South specializes in patients with advanced heart failure, pre or post heart or lung transplant, Left Ventricular Assist devices, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, and respiratory failure necessitating Bipap, or Hi-Flo Nasal Cannula. Individuals are drawn to 6 South as it is a unique environment that allows new grad nurses the opportunity to build a strong foundation in time management and develop their critical thinking skills in non-ICU assignments, while also providing an introduction into ICU level of care. Specifically, the nurses are trained to manage continuous vasoactive infusions, pulmonary artery catheters, radial arterial lines, central venous catheters, peritoneal dialysis and utilization of Endotool for continuous Insulin drip therapy.
