GENERAL FUNCTION:

Selected candidates are intended to become a Retail Personal Banker I after completing a 4-8 week on-boarding and education program that includes rotations in operations and Sales & Service. There will be a certification at the conclusion of the program to provide selected candidates the opportunity to demonstrate skills necessary to successfully perform a role within the Retail Personal Banker job family. The Personal Banker I is a Financial Center position focused on using the consultative sales process to proactively identify and meet the financial needs of customers or prospects. The Personal Banker I maintains focus on acquiring new households and/or deepening existing customer relationships through a variety of activities, including but not limited to lobby leadership (Financial Centers) or aisle time (Bank Marts) and tele-consulting. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build a thorough customer profile and identify current and future financial needs.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions using our value proposition.
• Utilize CAMP and other approved Marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
• Primarily focused on cross-selling to existing customer base and engaging in outside sales activities (i.e. Membership Advantage onsite presentations, business sales calls, community financial literacy events, etc.) as directed.
• Establish close working relationships with assigned Business Partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment), referring customers when appropriate to provide timely, and holistic financial solutions.
• Consistently meet/exceed customer experience and individual/team production goals and enhance year-over-year revenue growth as measured by the Financial Center P&L.
• Provide guidance to CSRs with respect to the sales and referral process.
• Promote customer satisfaction with a friendly, helpful demeanor and professionalism.
• Act with confidence by answering customer questions and owning customer issues.
• Maintain a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all business confidential.
• Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies, maintaining ethical behavior at all times.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or, combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities designed to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to established customers.
• Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions that will allow for analysis of credit and financial information.
• Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in terms of appearance and verbal/written communication.
• Demonstrated ability to develop a working knowledge of Retail policies and procedures in order to utilize good judgment in making sound decisions.

Perform administrative duties for one or more departments or units and provide various office support activities.

In your role as an Administrative Assistant, Senior Specialist, your primary duties will include the day-to-day support of two high-level executives – providing guidance for executive calendar needs, travel coordination and scheduling, meeting attendance, planning and coordination of events, and managing executive correspondence as needed. You will have an innate willingness to pitch in as needed for events and projects for the CM&CSR team and Foundation to support organizational success; a collaborative mindset to support emerging administrative needs of the division. You will also provide coverage for other Administrative Assistants in the division as needed and work as a team to provide seamless leadership support. On-site opportunities at our Durham campus will range between 6-8 times per year.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee Leader’s workflow including mail, calendar, correspondence, and telephone calls, determining priorities, preparing responses, and/or responding appropriately without errors and in a timely manner.
• Support Leader and other staff by scheduling, planning, and attending meetings as necessary.  Provide support to include expense reporting and travel planning.
• May act as coordinator of departmental projects, following up on pending details, coordinating project team activities and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Exercise considerable discretion and independent judgment and analyzes complex information request and determines complex trends.
• Maintain distribution lists and organizational charts.
• Coordinate activities and events in support of the department.
• Coordinate departmental moves and serve as liaison for IT services and upgrades.
• Assemble and analyze information to facilitate decision making.  Prepare special or one-time reports, summaries, or replies to inquiries, selecting relevant information from a variety of sources such as reports, documents, correspondence, other offices, etc., under general directions.
• Support departmental budget processes which could include running reports, simple budget analysis, and/or budget entries.

What You Bring

The Personal Banker SAFE Act is an entry level position responsible for the assistance in the execution of sales, products or service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The overall objective of this role is to foster relations with customers to build loyalty and to help increase sales to individual consumer clients.

Responsibilities:

• Work with business credit requests less than $250K, recognize/refer larger lending opportunities and cross sell treasury and related small business products
• Build referral business opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) Program
• Assist in strategies to grow the small business client and implement appropriate sales plans to target Book of Business customers
• Deliver client services/outbound calls/inbound calls to acquire new relationships and deepen existing relationships through the cross-sell of relevant products and services while delivering remarkable client experience
• Provide Tellers and other branch staff with coaching and guidance on products and special programs, identifying client needs, and providing appropriate referrals
• Recognize transaction needs of clients, educate clients on all service and digital channels and leverage technology/ marketing tools available to uncover opportunities, and present product offers/financial solutions
• Understand and comply with Citibank policies, standards and procedures
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Performing general office duties incorporating a variety of basic and routine clerical and secretarial duties in a clinical environment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Under direct/close supervision, performs a variety of basic and routine clerical and secretarial duties. These may include but are not limited to:
• Preparing and typing routine correspondence, form letters and reports
• Answering telephone & routing calls to the appropriate person,
