Want to gain real hands-on experience and learn all aspects of Warehousing whilst working towards a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations? We have a position available for a Warehouse Operator Trainee to begin a full-time traineeship located in Kawana, Rockhampton ! Our client provides high quality Industrial & Engineering Products including bearings, power transmission, fluid power fittings, seals, power tools and consumables to engineering, mining, transport, defence, manufacturers, civil infrastructure, and the trades, serviced by 85 strategically located Branches around Australia. They are part of a US listed industry leader as a wholesaler and reseller. Reporting to the Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to;
Customer service excellence
Answer phone
Email and face to face assist customers
Stock Control
Picking and Packing
Deliveries
This role will enable you to build your knowledge of the company and its products within a Warehouse Environment. They offer learning and development opportunities for your career progression. To be successful in this role you will have;
An interest in the mechanical or automotive fields (desirable)
Ability to solve practical problems effectively
Work autonomously on set tasks through to completion
High energy and passion
A positive and enthusiastic attitude, including having a desire to complete a qualification at certificate 3 level or above
A keen eye for detail
Good computer skills including knowledge of the basic MS Office Suite and capabilities in using Excel/spread sheeting (highly desirable)
Drivers Licence is a must
The Successful candidate will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol screen.
