What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the AVP, Global Privacy, this role plays a pivotal role as they are responsible for leading and implementing a comprehensive privacy governance program. The Senior Director, Global Privacy Program Governance & Strategic Initiatives is responsible for overseeing the privacy framework as well as policies, standards and procedure documents in addition to global privacy risk management reporting. You will lead, coordinate and implement regulatory change management requirements for the Global Privacy Program and trigger any global program updates as required. You will lead the RCM Privacy Program oversight activities for the Global Privacy Office; maintain a robust privacy training and awareness program and drive strategic and transformational initiatives to ensure privacy risk is managed effectively.

What You’ll Be Doing
You will act as an integral member of the market leadership team, and work in an assigned territory, with colleagues to enhance and drive major sales and product support activities in alignment with national sales strategy of CIBC Asset Management. What You’ll Be Doing
Remote Banking & Shared Services provides Enterprise services and solutions that drive banking experiences for CIBC's personal and small business banking clients by putting our clients at the center of all that we do. As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will manage large cross-portfolio programs and projects from end-to-end. You’ll lead teams of internal & external stakeholders and technology partners to ensure projects of all sizes are completed in line with the team’s budget and timeline.

Project Management – Work closely with project sponsors, program managers, third-party vendors, application owners and other project managers to translate business case, strategy and objectives into approved project plans. Manage project financials of $1MM-$5MM. Create resource plans consisting of BAs, Solution Designers, Development, QA and Operations to support project delivery and execution.
Issue/Risk Management - Proactively manage issues that will take projects off schedule by identifying solution and getting stakeholder buy-in. Manage key risks and dependencies by implementing mitigation strategies; escalate issues and risks as appropriate.
Stakeholder Management – Communicate project status and progress to help internal and external partners make informed decisions. Comfortable to communicate in governance meetings to a broad set of audience including senior management and executive leaders (VP and above).
Collaboration – Lead teams of internal & external stakeholders and technology partners in early seed phase to perform analysis and research to determine viability of the initiative before completing a full business case. Define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities and ensuring all project team members are working towards established milestones.
Technical Acumen – Familiarity with the complexity of Banking IT ecosystems and architecture. A strong curiosity and desire to learn about new technology in the financial and retail banking space.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate experience through 6-8+ years progressive experience in Technical Project Management with Enterprise/System Integration Experience. Background in Application Development, ideally within the banking industry. You have experience managing complex technical projects in a matrix environment and completed projects through full Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC), Requirements and Design, Quality Assurance and Implementation and Release Management.
You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, and/or a related field of study. PMP Certification is a nice-to-have.

Calendar management - Maintain and monitor the executive’s calendars of scheduled appointments, upcoming events and matters requiring immediate attention. Who you are
