The Analyst supports general functions of the practice such as property tax assessment notice and tax bill processing, mail handling, and scanning. The Analyst performs independent research and analytical reviews in support of the Property Tax practice and maintains software databases to ensure database and report integrity. The Analyst is responsible for creating positive team member experiences, which lead to excellent client service and drive revenue and profit for the Firm.

Client:
- Responds to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities.
Value:
- Perform various assigned administrative duties, including portfolio updates, collection of various key information for files, and assist with client reporting.
- Builds knowledge of property tax jurisdictions throughout the country, including tax bill deadlines, appeal deadlines, and tracking statutory deadlines.
- Maintain deadline calendar and track appeal recommendations.
- Receives, identifies, and sorts all incoming mail on a daily basis.
- Maintain refund tracker.
- Maintain change of address.
- Assist in completions and collecting of Agent Authorization and/or Power of Attorney forms and ensuring that the documents are uploaded into system. Also updates tracker accordingly.
- Assist in invoicing and billing preparation.
- Maintain client files.
- Assists in ad hoc projects as assigned.
- Anticipate needs and set priorities to handle a changing environment.
Education and Experience:
- Advanced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) – various formulas, pivot tables, etc..
- Comfort with technology and learning new systems and databases.
- Strong work ethic.
- High ethical standards.
- Must have a professional demeanor (professional voice and phone etiquette skills).
- Follow-up skills and attention to detail required.
- Solid time and calendar management skills.
- Sound judgment dealing with confidential information.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.

Pay Ranges:
-For candidates based near Oakland and San Jose, CA the hourly range is $24.52-$34.38.
-For candidates based near Glendale CA, the hourly range is $22.60-$31.49.
-For candidates based near Bellevue WA, the hourly range is $22.60 -$31.49.
-For candidates based near Buffalo NY, the hourly range is $20.43-$28.61.
-For candidates based near New York NY, the hourly range is $24.52-$34.38.
-For candidates based near Denver CO, the hourly range is $21.39-$30.05.
-For candidates based near Hartford CT, the hourly range is $21.39-$30.05.
