Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the operation of Production functions including planning to support Production activities in meeting quality, productivity, targets, yield cost and customer's satisfaction;
• Work with Planner to ensure the production schedules are available and work orders are on hand. To ensure that Production line running according to the schedules planned;
• Assess and optimize the effectiveness of manpower utilization and project manpower requirement.
• Originate and assess measure designed to improve production method/flow, machinery/equipment performance, quality of process/product, etc and recommend changes to method/flow.
• Confer with department heads to formulate programmes regarding availability of production resources, maintenance's of machinery/equipments, product/process, quality control, related production records and ensure operating costs and maintained at  budgeted level.

 

Requirements:

• Degree in Pharmacy with valid pharmacy license in state of operations;
• With a minimum 2 -3 years experience in a manufacturing environment;
• Knowledge in quality control measures & standard parameter Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practise (GMP) & ISO 9000 System;
• Required languages : English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese.
• Preferable Chinese speaking candidates
• Aggressive, result-oriented, good communication and interpersonal skills.

Provide specialist technical support to the Cytotoxic Chemotherapy Production Unit (Cytolab) at the City Hospital Campus

With support from the pharmacy production and quality assurance teams ensure the cytotoxic chemotherapy production unit meets all regulatory requirements for the aseptic manufacture and preparation of adult cancer chemotherapy treatments.
