About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Werkstudent (m/w/d) in Software Development with a focus on Python to join our dynamic product team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the development of Python-based software projects that contribute to our digital transformation efforts. Your responsibilities will include working on AI-supported development approaches such as agentic coding, prompt engineering, and context engineering. You will also assist in the enhancement of small full-stack tools and web applications, from initial concept to functional prototypes. Additionally, your role will involve data processing and analysis, helping improve our development and quality assurance processes, and documenting your work comprehensively. Testing and debugging code will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our software solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in innovative AI-driven software development within a forward-thinking energy company.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is an enrolled student with a passion for technology and innovation. You should have experience in Python programming and an interest in AI-supported software development, large language models (LLMs), and modern agentic workflows. A willingness to learn and explore full-stack development, APIs, and context engineering is essential. You should possess a proactive mindset, enjoy working independently, and have a genuine enthusiasm for diving into new topics. Basic knowledge of software development, data analysis, and data processing is preferred, along with a desire to further develop these skills. Knowledge of Azure, SQL, and Git is advantageous but not mandatory. Ultimately, we seek someone eager to contribute to our projects and grow within our innovative environment.
