Job DescriptionDATAGROUP Polska Sp. z o.o. is looking for a skilled Python Developer to support our ongoing technology refresh and migration initiatives. This is a mid-level position offering remote flexibility and the opportunity to work on forward-looking IT projects that involve modernizing legacy systems and migrating to cloud and open-source platforms.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient JAVA-based frontend as well as Python components for the ETL process.
- Contribute to the migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application modernisation and cloud migration efforts.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability throughout the development lifecycle.
Required ProfileWe are looking for a motivated young professional with a passion for Python development and a keen interest in IT. The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Good knowledge and several years of practical experience in Python development
- Solid skills in Postgres and SQL
- ETL experience is desirable
- Strong analytical skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently
- Experience in conceptual work
- Excellent understanding of data
- Independent and structured working style
- Very good command of English, both spoken and written
