About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and talented Werkstudent (m/w/d) in Software Development with a focus on Python to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of innovative software products and services that support our digital transformation initiatives. You will work closely with our agile product teams to create and enhance Python-based applications, explore AI-driven development techniques such as Agentic Coding, Prompt Engineering, and Context Engineering, and assist in the creation of full-stack tools and web applications from concept to prototype. Your responsibilities will also include data processing and analysis, improving development and quality processes, documenting your work, and debugging code to ensure optimal performance. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with modern AI workflows, expand your technical skills, and actively participate in shaping the future of energy technology.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is currently enrolled as a student with a strong interest in software development and emerging AI technologies. You should have practical experience programming with Python and a keen interest in AI-supported software development, including large language models (LLMs) and agentic workflows. Basic knowledge of full-stack development, APIs, and context engineering is advantageous, along with a desire to learn and grow in these areas. You should be capable of working independently, motivated to explore new topics, and eager to contribute to innovative projects. Additionally, familiarity with software development, data analysis, and data processing is beneficial. Knowledge of Azure, SQL, and Git is a plus, but not mandatory, as we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn above all.
Responsibilities
- Support our agile product teams in developing Python-based software solutions and projects.
- Participate in AI-driven development approaches such as Agentic Coding, Prompt Engineering, and Context Engineering.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of small full-stack tools and web applications, from ideation to prototype.
- Contribute to data processing, analysis, and visualization tasks to derive actionable insights.
- Help improve our software development and quality assurance processes to ensure high standards.
- Write, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation for projects and codebases.
- Conduct testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues, ensuring robust and reliable software performance.
